To surprise my girlfriend, I went to Tokyo at the end of May 2011. I needed a straightforward place to stay. My suitcase was easily accessible on foot from the station in the late spring heat. The front desk manager was a genuinely pleasant and helpful individual who went above and beyond to talk to me and my limited Japanese speaking ability. The one room I stayed in was usually compact and modest and clean, with a comfy bed. If you're feeling a little cheeky, they have a payondemand movie maker in the hallway. There is a pay for internet computer in the foyer, but it was a little sluggish. Wireless connectivity might be beneficial for the hotel. For breakfast, I was provided with coffee, toast, boiled eggs, a small pasta salad, and orange juice, which in Japan is always bizarrely concentrated items just squeeze a couple of oranges. It was enough to prepare me for a day in Tokyo. In conclusion, it was a fantastic hotel for the money and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a basic place to stay in Tokyo.

This hotel offers everything you need. It's close to Toyohashi station, clean, and seems well run with friendly, hospitable enough staff to make it difficult for me to judge as I was only there for one night. Of course, it's not a deluxe hotel, so most things are simple, breakfast choices are limited and rooms are a little small, but overall I had no big complaints and it suited me well. The one annoying thing was that they made you select a minute window for breakfast. You are requested to do this the day before. I suppose it's because there is an issue with the area for breakfast, but it's annoying because it's not allowing you any flexibility. It's difficult if you want to sleep in or get out early because you have your specific breakfast window. Apart from that minor complaint, I would recommend this hotel to those who just want to be in the right location in Tokyo and are not looking for a star experience. It probably doesn't work for families either.

Disrespect this hotel. Trains pass every minute just 30 meters away, day and night. Could not close an eye. The good thing is the hotel is not far from the city center. The room is small but clean. Lots of smoking rooms available, if you smoke, good for you! Attention no internet in the room available.
