Casa Blanca is a charming tiny hostel located on one of the main streets. A 15-minute walk from the rail station or on the tram. Close to Chinatown, a shopping mall, and the port. However, I left after 2 nights because I had reserved 3 nights. First of all, what is the bed? My bunk room had a window facing the street, which led directly into the main road and was constantly being screamed and screaming until the wee hours. Although there is a privacy curtain on either side, it isn't at the bottom of the bed, allowing me to see directly into the other two bunks. Furthermore, all of our bunks were lit up when they put their bed lights on. I'm not sure why they wouldn't place a privacy curtain at the bottom of the bunk, which seems to be typical of hostels these days. It had some kind of blanket on the bed, I'm referring to it to be more like a huge towel. So the bed. The bunk bed's mattress was a futon-style mattress. Im familiar with this in Japan, but they're normally on the ground, not placed inside a bunk bed where it's clearly deep and should contain a normal mattress. We stayed here for two nights and it was fantastic! Room, bathroom and common room were very clean because the kitchen was very clean. The common room was very lovely with kind of a loft above the kitchen where guests can relax. I would recommend it to everyone, especially if you want to meet young and interested people. You can smoke on the rooftop with an amazing view!.

The bad thing about this place is the noisy sounds and the bright room. The driver told me that the service was awful because the manager is working in such a busy area of the city. I would recommend finding another place to stay in Nagasaki. I spent five weeks in hostels in Japan. We were only given a little blanket, that looked like a towel, to sleep with when we got to our double room with a very uncomfortable mattress. There were no curtains and even though there were blinds on the window, the lights from outside came in. The room also overlooked a parking lot with a very bright automatic light that went on and off throughout the night. In addition, the outside and parking area noise was very loud all night long. The restroom and shower were small but tidy and appropriate for a short visit. The employees were the least helpful I've ever encountered. We asked for a restaurant recommendation where we could try the famous Nagasaki beef, not only did they have no idea where to go, but they also seemed surprised that we would ask such a question and we even got a few chuckles. Finally, she handed us a leaflet for a restaurant about 2030 meters from the hostel and suggested we try there, but when we got there, it was under renovation and was obviously closed for some time. We could excuse the staff not knowing this if you couldn't actually see

I stayed in a single bedroom for one night. Just across the street and just a 3-minute walk from the tram station is a 711 store. The room was clean, and the facilities were well equipped. As others have pointed out, it was undoubtedly weak, but I had good neighbors and was fine with that. The problem I had was the wifi. I could not see Instagram or use the line, so I was fine for an overnight stay. Lifeline.

The biggest complaint of this hostel was the beds. They are so hard and uncomfortable. You can really feel the wood of the bunk bed and the thin futon is nonexistent. I would wake up continuously all night due to back pain. There are also no curtains on the bed so privacy but there is a locker to store your personal belongings. The hostel is also located in a very noisy area and people would be screaming into the night past midnight. The lounge area and kitchen are tiny! Wifi is ok but tends to stop dropping.
