The hotel is a complex of buildings with a complicated circulation system due to building extensions and is located at the heart of hero. Everything looked dated, but the atmosphere was still lovely. The best part of course was the start, with its really fine water. Dinner and breakfast were well presented in a big but windowless room. We stayed in a Japanesestyle room, which was almost a house in and of itself, but unfortunately there was a persistent cigarette smell, maybe on the tatami floor or on the bedding.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, though taxis are still available. The hotel is large. A large, filling, breakfast buffet is a must. We were late for dinner after going into Iraq without a reservation, so on weeknights, we walked neighboring streets. It's difficult to locate an open restaurant, but we were able to locate a modest, great sushi bar outside the beginning museum. The room was really roomy and Western in design. After a lovely shower, you can rest soundly. A small, shallow public pool that is reserved for women and men is larger than it would normally be. The personnel was welcoming. English is limited, but enough.

The room is very big, not my favorite but the location and facilities are very good. There are 2 large entrances, one in traditional Japanese style and another in modern spa. We were given a very big room, the biggest one I have stayed in Rome so far and with a great street view. Lucky I had to walk 2 floors upstairs to my room with ekg luggage.

This place is very recommended. I always go to the beginning of the onset, and this one is one of my favorite places as you can enjoy the view of the mountains while sipping the fresh water. It's very big, clean, modern, and peaceful. I'll definitely stay here again. If you need suggestions for the best beginning point, this is the place to do it.

The river can be seen from the window both in the day and at night. Especially at night I enjoyed listening to the sound of running water, it was very soothing. There is a free shuttle service from the station. They do the pick up based on train timing, and there is a time when the shuttle is available. Check their website for details. Our dinner included hide beef for grilling on a hot stone.
