I highly recommend this hostel to future travelers. During my solo journey through japan, i stayed here for several nights. Yamamoto-san was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This hostel has everything you could possibly need for a long stay. There is free wifi, washer and dryer, hot shower, clean toilet and washroom, comfortable beds with personal charging outlets, kitchen, fridge, microwave, dishes, etc. I spent countless hours biking around the area, hiking the mountains, and eating delicious food. Many temples and historical locations are available.

The hostel is comfortable and friendly, equipped with all the essentials. It is conveniently located just a halfhour away from nagano station by bus. The host even drove us to ionsen nearby to unwind in his car.

I heartily endorse this location! The host was incredibly kind and took us wherever we needed to go. We spent time together in the evenings drinking and conversing. I had everything i needed, and the rooms were tidy. Its true that it isnt in a prime location, but the bus stop is right next to the hostel.
