Fantastic location! I spent three nights there. A laidback hostel with a cozy bar where guests can socialize with other tourists and locals. Attracts comrades in crowded areas.

Ive stayed here in a female dorm before. This time, i remained with my partner for four nights and reserved solitary room. Both times, the stay has been wonderful. The facilities are immaculate, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and diligent. We had tastier balcony to eat breakfast in, which was warm and roomy. One day, we had the onigiri and miso soup breakfast because we were staying over the weekend, it was excellent. There is plenty of room to store any food you might have in the kitchen, all of which is wellequipped. Nearby restaurants and easy to navigate around this area make traveling around. I enjoyed my stay here and will return.

I had an amazing time hanging out with the locals and staff at the bar area. They were all incredibly friendly and inviting. The accommodations are also excellent. It is a lovely bunk house in and of itself. Most of it has been kept looking very original, and it is immaculately maintained. However, the bathrooms and kitchen areas, which have been made quite nice and modern, still perfectly complement the buildings historic charm. Although it was more of merely tinkering with utensils than genuinely mattresses, they were still really cozy to sleep on. I would unquestionably suggest this location, but i hope to return someday.

This place is close to iriya station, which makes it peaceful. And then, the workers are so warm. After that, they can speak english, so its okay. Subsequently, this place was affordable. Hereafter, theres no shortage of places like this at reasonable prices.

Wei naivete, sao yin deMian remasendeshita. Jian wensubarashisa, bukit kutahu, and ruwosu are the best in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also serve food and drinks. There is a restaurant here.

This hostel is truly remarkable. The service you receive when compared to the price is the best ive ever experienced, far from anything else. Extremely cozy, extremely comfortable. If i tried, ill never have a negative experience.

Saya menginap di sini selama 3 hari 2 malam. Meskipun bangunannya sudah cukup tua, namun suasananya benar-benar seperti di Jepang. Pelayanannya sangat baik, seperti berada di rumah sendiri. Sarapan ala Jepang dengan onigiri dan miso soup tersedia. Sangat direkomendasikan.

Very charming oldstyle hostel with a lovely little back yard garden. The staff were very nice to us and i really enjoyed the part of tokyo, tucked away from the busy center and very close to ueno park. Each bed has sockets, lamps, clothes hangers, curtains and lockers. Kitchen is well equipped and there is enough space for food storage. Apart from that, we would have liked more space to store suitcases or backpacks in the kitchen, faster working internet (not suitable for digital nomads) and warmer kitchen. While the rooms were warm enough (actually he was pleasantly warm at times too warm for me), the cooking was freezing, especially in morning. Overall, it was an extremely friendly and social atmosphere, which ive enjoyed.

This is a great hostel in san juku. If you want to be in the bustling area around shijukoku, this place isnt for you, but if you prefer to live in an area of Tokyo that is still fairly central (just one stop from ueno station), this is the place for your needs! The dorms are quiet and clean, and its fashioned in what looks like dated japanese architecture. You can have booze at the bar every night unless you request it, plus the staff is always very kind and helpful. The garden is lovely to sit in, with both the subway and the jr train stations within walking distance for ten minutes. Its surrounded by bars and other amenities, so i dont recommend this area based on its peaceful location, although ive found it to myself because ill love quiet places! Also, since it is an old building, it can occasionally get chilly, however, they usually have midnight curfew in their common area, which is usually not an issue. There are also curtains around all the beds, allowing you to enjoy lone privacy even despite being in bed. Ive stayed in many hostels over the years, yet this one is my favorite. This place is highly recommended! What a lovely hostel, with very wellmaintained homes in the japanese style. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the staff. They are extremely friendly, down to earth, and have things throughout the guesthouse that encourage resembling comradery. Im so happy i was able to spend essentially the entirety of my stay in tokyo here.

This summer, i spent about a week here. The staff was really welcoming and spoke excellent english. In the evening, in the bar area, we had countless hours talking to other visitors and locals. Sensoji temple is not too far away, and the neighborhood around the guest house is lovely. I would strongly advise staying in one of the bunk rooms here if you are traveling in japan on your own and dont require reserving nascent hotel accommodations.

This is a great place to stay in tokyo. The staff has been very friendly the two times i have stayed here. Last time ive come in the winter and it was perfect. My only complaint this time is that it is summer and the upper bunks are very warm and humid at night, because the ace temperature is too high and curtains block airflow. Maybe offering small fans to help you stay cool would be helpful. Also, better enforcement of the quiet hours would do the trick, but noise is something you should expect in utmost hostel.

This place is highly recommended! I only stayed one night at this hostel and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was excellent! Very helpful staff, clean rooms and toilets, and a really beautiful place to stay. I need to visit this place again before leaving japan.
