This elegant old house has been restored and is in a convenient location near the seafront and station. The location of this house is very strategic with easy access to the train station and the beach. In this area, there are no towels provided. In the room, there is an outside shower and toilet. Inside the bathroom, there is a dirty, concrete outside sink, and many other things. You need to pay extra for the heating. There is no soundproofing inside the house. I also like that the staff is very welcoming but there are many noises that can be heard.

This place is in an old building with a lot of cool features. It's funky but clean. The staff was very friendly and often cook group meals and family dinners in the cafe downstairs. Onomichi is a bit quiet at night but this place makes a nice choice for stay.

We rode the Shimanamikaido cycling course from Mahari to Onomichi. After a long day of riding and camping, it was so wonderful to arrive here. Small, clean, comfortable, affordable, and polite! On the first floor is a cool lounge and cafe. Onomichi is a fantastic little town worth visiting at night and exploring food, shops, and nightlife. I heartily endorse the Yadocurly guesthouse.

Onomichi is a lovely unexpected find in a small port town full of art galleries, restaurants, shrines and outgoing people. Beautiful setting. Yadocurly is a good place to stay at night in a basic hostel with excellent hosts, good location and very affordable. Lots of steep internal steps to the bedrooms.
