The experience was unquestionably worthwhile. We would love to return. A pedestrian bridge crosses the yoshida river and is about a 20 minute walk from Gujohachiman train stop from Yoshida roman. It is situated on the same road as the city museum hakurankan and close to the top roads leading to Gujohachiman castle in the heart of Gujohachiman. There are many gujohachiman shrines close by and the river is only a 5-minute stroll away. The four of us had a roomy tatami room with glass sliding doors that could lead into the garden. Even though there was no bathroom in the room, there were a couple of employees who could speak a little English with us, but they were very friendly to us. We used the spa every night of our three nights at Yoshida because the baths were open from midday until late afternoon. While we were out exploring the city and nearby riverways, our room was scrubbed every afternoon. Our final night there was the finest unagi Ive ever had! Try it if you can. While it was relatively empty when we remained in June, we observed that it and other neighborhood housing become quite crowded in midjuly to earlyseptember during the Guo odor festival. For us to reserve one room for three nights, it cost about

This Roman was a joy in every way in the lovely and warm little mountain town of Guo Hachiman. The owners were attentive and helpful in every way. We didn't speak the same language, but we did! The restaurant specializes in unagi eel from mountain streams and the meals were delicious and beautiful. A gender-separated bath was a plus. I love this tiny town and this Roman. They get hospitality.
