Couldn't have found a better place in the heart of Kyoto. The owner is amazing and very helpful for everything, location is perfect for exploring on foot. Highly recommend this ryokan for your stay in the city.

This was the perfect place to stay for our four nights in Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to many dining options and sites, but also close to public transportation if you need to go further. The building itself is historic and beautiful and the owner is helpful and friendly. When I asked about shipping our bags ahead he said to just leave them in our room with an estimate of the cost and he’d take care of them. He did and put the change in an envelope in one of our bags. Also offered to run us to the train station, but we were leaving too early. The only reason not to stay here is if you are a noisy group! The way the building is constructed you can hear people in other rooms. Not a problem for us.

Nilai penuh.

This place is highly recommended if you want a quiet stay in kyoto. Large, recently refurbished traditional room with traditional design and modern comforts. The shower is spacious and the futons are comfortable. The owner is very kind and speaks english. There is a selfservice laundromat and dryer less than two minutes from hazuki. The location is in a traditional japanese neighborhood.

Saya menginap selama 5 malam 6 hari. Saya merekomendasikannya jika Anda mencari akomodasi bergaya Jepang.

The location is a bit far from the main tourist areas, but everything is perfect. The room and house are beautiful and charming. The floor heating makes it very comfortable. The owner speaks japanese and english and is very nice and even brought us tea and snacks when he had time. I can only recommend it.

This was a 5star stay! Perfect for a peaceful and beautiful stay. We will definitely be back. The manager was helpful and friendly. Customer service was generally excellent via written communication (email, whatsapp, and in person. We brought up a minor complaint and it was resolved right away and the communication was transparent. We are a lesbian couple on our honeymoon and felt very safe and welcomed. Beautiful traditional building. The room is spacious and well decorated. The building has very thin walls and floors and the doors creak a little, so you really have to be quiet, both with your voice and your step at night. The building also has a kitchen room with a microwave, fridge, etc. The room has floor heating and a heater. The room is spacious and has a floor. The room is very thin, and the walls and floors are very thin, and the doors creak a little, so you really have to be quiet, both with your voice and your step at night. We liked that very much because it provided a calm atmosphere. This is not a place for someone who wants to party and be loud late at night. The building has an onsen. It can accommodate 1-2 people and has a shower and sink. There was a sakura bath cream, which helped with dry skin. Bus lines 4, 17, and 205 are 5 minutes walk away. The 205 goes directly to kakuji, the golden pavillion. The area is quiet and romantic, with small streets.

Hazuki is the place to stay if you want to be fully immersed in kyoto and fully immerse yourself in the sights and culture. Beautifully renovated authentic japanese house. This hotel is a hidden gem. Secluded away on a small road typical of kyoto, you can really imagine how people lived in years past, with the added benefit of air conditioning.

Best place we have stayed in japan. The room was spacious and had plenty of space for luggage storage. The location was convenient, right next to the river, bicyle rental and restaurants within walking distance. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and even offered us a lift to the station which was only a 10 minute walk away.
