We will definitely stay here again when we visit kyoto in the future! My husband and i stayed here for 4 nights and had a great experience. The hotel is in a great location, right next to nishiki market and walking distance from the main transportation hubs of kyoto. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, accommodating and speak english. The room we stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and very quiet. It had lots of outlets and amenities, including a washing machine, microwave, and kitchen sink! I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

Excellent hotel. The personnel are outstanding, they are incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel is spotless, and the room has a washing machine and a dryer mode in the bathroom, which is very convenient! The main street and pontocho are both accessible on foot. They gave us a map of kyoto and gave us recommendations for the best routes! We received a lot of assistance from the staff. Additionally, if you require, you can send your luggage to another city throw them away. It couldnt be nicer!.

First of all, i have to say that the hosts were absolutely fantastic! So very helpful. They provided the best service and assistance ive ever had at a hotel. Ill return to that later. But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, supportive, and informative. They helped us with a variety of complicated international travel issues. I had to ship luggage and rare bottles of alcohol unexpectedly to a domestic airport, moving to an international airport, and this was only one of our many unexpected problems. They went above and beyond to assist us. They even actively problemsolved with us about many challenges across days of new problems. They worked on these things for us while we went out and enjoyed our day! My partner also lost her apple watch, which they discovered and shipped to us in the united states. In addition, they gave us great recommendations and lots of them! They were very friendly and kind, and they spoke very often with us about our day activities and made suggestions. They just went so far as to make our vacation better and better. We really appreciated their incredible assistance!.

The staff and boss are very polite, professional and hospitable. They can speak simple english. Provided clear and detailed explanations of the room and facilities, the boss even personally took us to the room to show us how to use the electrical appliances. We had a great time at the goco hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Very close to nishiki market 20 m, very close to the train station 150 m walking distance to gion. I highly recommend this hotel.

The owners and their teams, however, are the true stars of our stay. Nothing is too much to ask for. They were incredibly helpful in assisting us with our travel plans and providing excellent recommendations. The location is unbeatable. You will be spoilt for options. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. The city bakery and obanzai nomura nishiki are highly recommended. The room may be small, but it is equipped with a washing machine and a drying function in the shower.
