[Notice] Introduction of Accommodation Tax from July 1, 2026
Please be advised that Kumamoto City will introduce an accommodation tax effective for stays from Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Accommodation tax: JPY 200 per person, per night.
Reservations made before July 1, 2026 are still subject to the tax.
The term “accommodation charge” refers to the room-only rate (i.e., excluding meals, consumption tax, bathing tax, etc.) and any service fees applied to that room-only rate.
All guests for whom an accommodation charge applies are subject to the tax.
Reservations using free stay vouchers are exempt from the tax; however, reservations where points from booking sites or promotional/invitation vouchers are used are subject to tax based on the pre-discount accommodation charge.

Starting 1 July 2026, changes in local tax regulations will require guests to pay an Accommodation Tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property at check-in.
The tax is determined based on the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows:

Additional conditions:
For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “room rate” shall refer to the room-only rate, excluding meal charges and consumption tax.
Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in, even if you have paid by credit card in advance.

[Notice of Breakfast Price Revision]
As has been reported in recent news, rising food prices have made it difficult to maintain the current quality at the current price, so we have decided to revise the breakfast price from January 2, 2026.
We will continue to strive to further improve our quality and service, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Starting with the meal served on Friday, January 2, 2026 (sold on Thursday, January 1, 2026), the breakfast prices will be revised as follows.
