Hotel the Flag was perfect for everything we wanted in Osaka. It was near the shopping mall, close to all the food spots we wanted, and the nightlife. The room was just spacious enough for two people and our big luggage. Staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, the breakfast buffet was delicious and we took advantage of the coin laundry on site. Definitely will recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Osaka.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hotel The Flag Shinsaibashi with my family during our visit to Osaka. Even during our short stay, the staff were incredibly accommodating and always friendly, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. They were helpful with questions and made the overall experience smooth and comfortable for all of us. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and it was a great way for our family to start the day. The room itself was very clean and spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. The location was also excellent, conveniently situated near many places to explore, shop, eat, and experience Osaka. It made getting around easy and allowed us to enjoy different parts of the city without much hassle. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka and would happily stay here again!

A lovely, very modern hotel with very welcoming staff. Rooms are a decent size for a Japanese city with a great shower. Ours was on the inside and so there was no view, but air con was very efficient. We hadn't booked breakfast but decided to buy it on the first morning - 2000¥ per person. A wide range of food hot and cold, European and Japanese... So we had it for the rest of our stay. Overall, The Flag made us very happy.

Perfectly positioned just 2 minutes walk from the main shopping street and also super close to Dotonbori. Restaurants and bars just outside the doors, but we didn’t hear a thing. Familymart literally just around the corner. Accomodation feels exclusive and luxe. The bathroom is a sanctuary. We stayed in a 4 person room and it was so spacious and beautifully lit -what a treat. The beds were soft (by Japanese standards) and we were able to stream Netflix too. Having a laundry was another bonus. Will definitely stay here when we visit Osaka again. Thank you for the retreat Hotel the Flag.

This is my 2nd time staying at the Flag - Highly recommend staying here, it is a great location with friendly staff and decent sized room. The hallway between bathroom and room is quite small and there isn't a lot of clothing storage. I suggest installing some hooks in the room or bathroom. But otherwise it was a great stay.

Clean rooms, Very close to Dontonbori, Safe neighborhoods around the area, very Quaint & nice, Modern hotel, Fast Elevators, Great laundry area w new washers & Dryers, Smaller rooms but similar to what you find anywhere in Japan. The don’t have coffee for your rooms, you have to go to the lounge to get that. Also, they don’t have any luggage stands, other than that, it was a great place to stay.
