0-2 years old: Complimentary baby crib or bed guard available (please request in advance as quantities are limited)
3-5 years old: Considered as sharing a bed, no amenities/bedding provided (only towels are provided)
6 years and older are considered as adults.
According to Kyoto city regulations, an accommodation tax will be charged separately at the property as follows:

200JPY per person per night for room rates under 20,000JPY
500JPY per person per night for room rates between 20,000JPY and 49,999JPY
1,000JPY per person per night for room rates of 50,000JPY or more

As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 

【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  
For room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   
For room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  
For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400  
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   
For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 
For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   

For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.
