The exit of the hotel is about 20 meters from the limo bus stop in Okkaido. The hotel is centrally located and close to everything, and the staff is fluent in English. There are several small restaurants on the side street to the left and in the large gallery across the street. This hotel still has floors for smokers, and the standard rooms are rather small. Upon my arrival, they were unable to offer me a non-smoking room, and I was initially told that the only way to obtain a paying upgrade and that a late checkout would also cost money. After considering the possibility of additional costs, I ended up with a very spacious room 1120, which faced a hill with a forest and was open to view. And because the shower head was high enough that I didn't have to bend over to shower, I was there for work, so I didn't see much of Matsuyama. The very pleasant surprise, however, came upon checkout, as the staff informed me that I wouldn't be required to pay the additional fees, which I found to be a fantastic decision.

First, the airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel is walking distance from the castle and directly across from the street to the large market where you can buy anything you need. Starbucks is a minute walk if you like to chill out too. The staff was very helpful at check in. Would definitely come back!
