Prime location with few steps access to Kyoto Station where you can find a few tons of options for dining and shopping. The room was clean and breakfast buffet was good. Very friendly staff. 2 laundromats at the property available to use for guests. There was no need to add detergent and the room tv showed status of both to check availability.

The Mitsui Garden Hotel in Kyoto was lovely. It’s clean and modern with all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The room and bathroom was comfortable. I was traveling with a friend and I feel like we had adequate space. Our only grip was that they only have a limited set of washers and dryers available on the third floor. It’s not as convenient as in some other hotels they should add a few more washers and dryers. Otherwise we had a great location right next to the train station and in a great neighborhood filled with restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful with having my luggage transferred to another hotel. This is a very clean, modern and new hotel, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
