I chose this location partly because it had the best reviews for the price and partly due to how close it was to the ropeway that leads up to mountains. The room was very large with a very big onsen tub. It was extremely quiet when we stayed and we didnt run into any other guests. Breakfast was buffet style and had dozens of options. Try taking o jog in the morning, the views of the mountains in front of you are stunning, especially if you visit in fall. Highly recommend going in autumn.

The bathroom has a pleasant onsen, i have gotten accustomed to the atmosphere of the lobby. I found some hair on the sofa and mattress, and the interior rooms need cleaning because they are so stained. The room is spacious, there is tv, but there are also nice entertainment areas near the foyer. There is massage for feet and chairs, vending machine, microwave. My room does not have mountain views like the one ive reserved on website and does lack outdoor slippers for go to balcony. When breakfast time, im sure the staff could be trained. Because despite the fact that ill still not finished, the personnel want to pick up my dishes. That is quite unpleasant.

I stayed here for a few nights at the tail end of winter, so the prices were reasonable and i was the only guest there for one night! The hotel and room itself are quite old, but everything was clean and in place. Im not sure about the other rooms, however my standard one was more than large enough and had its own onsen, which was just fantastic. You can tell if spring water is real or not by its sulfur 'egg smell, therefore it didnt disappoint. The food was mediocre and limited in variety, and it would have been nice to have draught with utmost flexibility to see what was available. I think this was an excellent deal for the reasonable offseason price ive paid, although unless ill be paying high season rates, he would be slightly disappointed by the outdated look of the hotel. Otherwise, the stay was great and we enjoyed our visit to this area.

This was the best hotel ive ever stayed at! Fantastic experience, especially considering the price. After a tiring day of driving in the rain, the balcony private onsen really worked. Dinner was absolutely delightful and well worth it. It was an excellent location for lone or couples retreats into the mountains. I advise driving your own vehicle. Additionally, everyone i spoke with spoke fluent english and, of course, japan.

Large rooms with private onsen! No need for anything else, more than the disadvantages of the hotel. Although the food was actually quite good (few but good dishes) there were attempts to mix eastern and western food for no good reason, but once you get the idea its a great hotel it is not by japanese standards but very high standards - the room isnt 100% clean, the facilities are sadly broken, and the beds are not very comfortable, food is also not that great either.

The staff was very friendly, they left us check in early and were very welcoming. The hotel is quite modern and the rooms are very spacious. They have private onsen which is very nice. Very comfortable beds and delicious food!.

This place is ideal for a getaway. The personnel were extremely kind and helpful. Additionally, the hotel was kept warm, cozy, and peaceful. It has sanitized ambiance, which we appreciated. We cant recommend the hida beef option enough, but the cuisine was excellent. They advise you to bring your own food and that there is no food available. There is nothing for miles. Bring food. Breakfast and dinner are offered. With ten hours between lunch and breakfast. This would have been ideal if they had offered fewer meals or even bringing snacks from eating vending machines. However, it was incredibly stressful that we had to limit what we brought.

The room was large and spacious, making it very comfortable. The free flowing hot springs in the observation bath in this room were very nice. There are only amenities provided shampoo, towel set, and toothbrush, so you need to bring your own, but samane and tanzen are provided and the room comes with a hot shower, which is, in my opinion, very reasonable. Dinner will be prepared for you if you make reserving in advance. I have been staying here for several nights and there are quite fewer guests, therefore i plan to stay more nights next time. Even though there were no japanese staff, ive had amiable time without any problems with polite customer service.
