The room is good value for money. However, the tap water tasted and smelled bad, it looks like they have pipe or drain problems. A large 100 y bottle from the convenience store solved that problem. Even though the mattress and blanket were a bit short, even for me and i am only 5'3 (160 cm). But the bed and pillow were more comfortable than in another, more expensive business hotel we stayed in tokyo, and we had the first good nights sleep in ten days. The curtains had dust on them that must have taken ages to accumulate, luckily neither of us has allergies. Everything seems old but overall well maintained. Loved the spacious bathroom with squat shower and deep bathtub, separate toilet, nice floor sitting area with low table, accent wall and wall decals, creating ambiance of relaxation. This place is a great refuge in the seedy shinjuku. The bed is thick and comfortable, there is separate shower and bathroom, and it is very quiet. After staying in several places around the area, this was our favorite. Decent size, friendly staff, quiet and comfy.4.8/524 Oct 2023

Shinobo station was only merely 3.5 minutes away on foot from the hotel, making it an easy stroll. The hotels cleanliness is commendable, featuring amenities such as tv, electric kettle, hairdryer, and stocked mini fridge. Furthermore, the staff members were accommodating and spoke some english well. If you need to wash your clothes, there is also onsite coin laundry available. For young couples, this hotel is ideal for those seeking affordability, especially considering its central location in the heart of shijuku. Shinjuku is in a prime location, next to jr train station. If thats your thing, there are food and kpop outlets nearby. The staff is friendly, the english is limited so you can practice your japanese.4.6/53 Jan 2023

The room was pleasant and appeared to have recently undergone renovations, and there were two very helpful obaa-sans at the counter who were available to assist us. Limited english.
