I was very impressed with the service provided by the host family. Even during the busy season, they provide pick up service. I was in a room that was brand new and well maintained with a wonderful view. The room was very clean and had good cleanliness.

In general, this hotel is highly recommended. The second-floor guest room was pretty tidy. The room is rather dull and filthy. There is a sink and a toilet in the space. However, there isn't a guarantee shower. A futon, a little pillow, and a plush duvet make up the bed. On the first floor, there are two excellent, distinct showers. I had to pay 100 yen for a bath towel because there is only one backhand towel provided, perhaps this is the norm in this type of accommodation. Also on the first floor is a breakfast area. Although the breakfast options are fairly limited, what was served, including a selection of fresh local vegetables for a salad, regional bread, butter, and preserves. I also received a plate with a modest serving of an omelet, sausage, and potatoes. The hosts are extremely courteous and speak decent English. However, as the second-floor guest rooms are accessible via a relatively narrow and steep staircase, I wouldn't advise using this place for people with mobility problems. The cottage rooms ought to function fine.

The pension is located close to the city. The pension host, hostess, and staff are very kind. They served a delicious and energy-boosting breakfast for the guests for a very affordable price. The pension provides a spacious and clean communal area for guests on the first floor. The second-floor room, which has a private bathroom and sink, is roomy and clean. From the room, guests may see beautiful, beautiful snow.
