Besides that, the location here is strategic because it has ski in ski out. Breakfast was also very good with piped classical music and an elderly couple running the place. You would think the design hasn't changed in 40 years because of the Swiss and Austrian decorations everywhere. The property description claimed that breakfast was included, which was correct, and evening meals were also provided at a cost. Look closer. For the cost, the bed was really hard as a rock. The hot water system took some time to go up in the morning, but it was okay. Although the internet connection was free, it was without a password and didn't function very well in the rooms. The rooms were warm and the drying area was nice and warm - not every ski lodge does that. I wouldn't recommend this lodge for the price charged unless it was a brief stay and you were desperate for an on-mountain ski-in-ski out stay.

As others have stated, to put ski snowboard gear in the underground equipment storage area and open the door to face the ski slope so that you could play right there and have a rest in this house, in your room, because your shelter was perfect for ski snowboarding enthusiasts at any time. In contrast to the unique 5 star super fine dining dinner or even breakfast in complete French culture with wine or drinks to order would be additional added to the final receipt, of course, but I understand because the menu has clear price stated, starter, soup, main dish, dessert, tea and coffee after etc. With clear explanation for the owner uncle, with a very nice romantic window view of the ski lift and other ski player outside even at night first night I had the table inside without a view, but other nights, especially during the New Year, I got the window table so I called it still so nice for me, and for my under-deck room with bed that had to climb the ladder to reach my futon, it looked so comfy for me, and the heater worked so perfectly, changing the setting in advance lol, and the sun would set around 4.30 rp, so early. Of course, the difficulty to climb about 100 meters from the ski office building in heavy, fluffy snow at the mountaintop to the resort, especially if you have loads of bags. But you can ask the owner uncle to use the little sledge to side your baggage up

It literally is on the paste. It is of European design on japanese slopes which was all the rage when it was built but feels a bit out of place today. The couple that run it and never stop working even though they must be well into their 60s are lovely people. Helpful and cheery and of course incredibly polite, as most Japanese tend to be. It has a spa bath you can reserve free, which is great after a hard day skiing.

Excellent overall experience, including excellent conditions for skiing and snow. A wonderful and handy stay. About 100 meters from the ultra center and on the edge of the route. What to anticipate from very welcoming hosts. Musashi and Yuko treated us thoroughly and with great spirit. We went above and beyond to make sure we were as quick as possible to get to and from the bus stop. Plenty of hot water, ample bathrooms, and a good share of water. A tasty western lunch and dinner menu. It may have been nice to have a few Japanese options, but they are just a short walk away. Basic English. For most interaction, it was adequate, but we used google translate to confirm key messages and travel details were clearly understood. What to expect in regularly serviced rooms, such as changing linens and towels. For me, this is not a problem because we do it at home every day! Difficult, fluffy towels. The provided towels were large but tiny. Each day, they did dry out well in the room.

When you arrive at Der Bar, everything is satisfying. Der Bar's choice for ski in and ski out access was in our intention. You receive cozy rooms and mattresses, a good breakfast traditional mixed with western, a comfortable bath, and a pleasant, attentive service. The hosts English was somewhat problematic, but far better than our Japanese, so there was enough communication to get by with. The average rating is based entirely on the hotel's poor access. In winter, you must walk through the snow uphill for 100 meters using only luggage skis except for the hand-driven cart, which maybe fits a bag or two, and then the host comes down the hill with it. Nevertheless, you're completely at check-out, and all of your luggage must be carried down the snow. Also, the main front door is closed in the winter because they have to do too much shoveling. The rental car's parking was purely speculation, and we were asked to move it twice during the first two days from the nearby super parking lot. If you don't have the best of the best of the available equipment and skills to match, the hotels parking lot is inaccessible during winter. At 1 pm on Sunday, we settled on using the day parking lot, and they didn't appear to mind us staying overnight.
