This Guest House was created in Senpai after the tsunami of 2011. It's probably one of the best places to stay while in Senpai. It's a little difficult to find because it's slightly out of the way from the or station. The guest house's young proprietors both speak good English and will give you directions. If not, a staff member will accompany you to the station. You will get to experience the charm of the Takeu people while you are with them and their staff. Mask made me a fantastic meal while I was too exhausted to leave during my stay because he was too tired to go out. His buddies and neighbors offered beer, sake, and snacks to come over. I believe everybody staying at the guest house that night, including all the Japanese visitors from outside the city, had a great time.

This place has a lovely and secluded atmosphere in the lounge. Every night, I enjoy dining in a classic way and playing games. It is also very peaceful and close to the subway station that connects you to Senpai Central Station. To reach the Masaiyamada temple in the mountains, it takes only 90 minutes.

I booked this with a friend for the long weekend in October about 3 weeks earlier and couldn't find any other place with rooms available as it was a popular time to travel. Found this after searching the internet in Japanese, and even though they only had room for one of us in a bunk bed, they offered to put an extra futon on the floor which was just as comfortable. The guest house is small but very pleasant. When we arrived we were given tea, there are sofas in the lounge where you can drink with the owner and other guests and you can also order dinner for a very reasonable price. There is a small reading room on the top floor where you can use a printer and read from the manga selection. The bathroom is very clean and modern, and the showers are wonderful! There are no restaurants or attractions near the hostel, but senpai station is only four stops away by train. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. All of this for 2, 500 yen per night! I will definitely come back if I visit Senpai again.
