They will behave very pleasant when you arrive but if you don't take excursions with them like scuba diving, kayaking, etc, they become mean and argumentative. Our ferry arrived at noon on the day we checked out, luckily we didn't have a car, so they agreed to pick us up and drop us off on the schedule of the ferry. Yet after we had paid and checked out in the morning, our ferry was late at noon, and they simply refused to drop us, giving mean excuses. We were very stuck as there was no cab service as well, finally when I offered her 200 jpy she happily accepted. Therefore there are better places on the island, avoid such greedy people.

We stayed here for 2 nights and to be honest, the property is conveniently located and maintained but the owner is moody. When you arrive, they will be extremely nice but if you don't have activities or excursions to do with them, such as snorkeling, kayaking, etc, they become nasty and argumentative. Our ferry was at noon on the day we checked out, but we didn't have a car, so they agreed to pick us up and drop us off as scheduled for the ferry. But after we paid and checked out in the morning, our ferry was late at noon, and they simply refused to drop us off with vile excuses. We were already stuck because there was no taxi service either, when I eventually offered her 200 jpy, she gladly agreed. So, there are better places on the island, avoid such greedy people.
