予想以上に素晴らしく、感動の1泊2日だった。キッチン、バス、トイレ、洗面所、各部屋がとても綺麗。無料のドリンク、お菓子あり。室内運動具もたくさんあり。テレビが、バカでかい。お布団ふかふか。食材持ち込みO.K.で、調理可能。食器充実。コロナ対策グッズがアチコチに用意されている。駐車場が、すぐ近く。管理人が優しく親切。部屋が広くて、3人で全部屋使用。「来た時よりも美しく」を合言葉に、チェックアウト前の掃除も、家族の結束を高めた。たくさんの人に紹介したい。「また利用したいね。」と、子ども達も、大満足の1泊2日だった。感謝、感動、大満足。

Katsuhiko-San make us feel at home in his beautiful house. It was an unique experience living in an authentic japanese home for some days. It made us appreciate and get closer to Japan's way of life in every way possible. The Takoyako party was an awesome detail too and we had fun with it. I'll recommend it to couples coming for Japan for the first time!

The nice people who where running the place made our stay much better. They took their time to show us things. They even walked us to the bike rentals. As for the house it was well kept and we couldn’t of asked for a better stay. Kyoto is wonderful, wish I had more time here.

Nous sommes une famille de 4 . Nous devions rester seulement 4 nuits mais notre hôte a pu nous garder deux nuits de plus à notre demande (suite à un changement de programme dû à la tempête tropicale). Il nous a préparé des takoyakis le premier jour et des yakitoris le dernier. Tous les espaces communs sont très biens, propres, super fonctionnels... extra La cuisine est super équipée, on peut acheter de quoi se faire à manger. Il y a pleins de petites choses en libre service. On s'est sentis comme à la maison, le meilleur endroit de tout notre séjour!

Un superbe endroit dans une maison traditionnelle japonaise! Chambres avec tatamis et futons! Une petit jardinet typique du japon. L'accueil est très bon et Yusuke et très attentionné envers ses hôtes. Un très bon spot pour découvrir une ville superbe mêlant tradition et modernisme.

Very nice place, the owners are friendly and welcoming. Even if they don't speak english, they try to help you as the can. We were there with 2 children who are 6 and 7 years old and we stayed 6 nights. The owners usually waited us when we came back in the evening and they liked to play with our children. Our children still talk about them and really liked to stay there! We used the kitchen that is clean and well provided. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and confortable. They don't provide breakfast, but you can have water, coffe and tee for free at any time and there are always some snacks (for free too). We really loved that place and we recommend everyone to go there. It's about 10 minutes walk from metro station, there are many restaurants and supermarkets around.

We reserved 2 nights at the Villa Koto and stayed 4 nights. It is a fantastic location and the hosts who cant remember his name now were fantastic and helped us out but also provided us with our own space. The room was lovely with a futon on the floor giving us a real Japanese living experience. The showers were hot and full of creams. A washing machine is available and inexpensive for 100 yen, but you can dry at the laundry store about 30 seconds walking and 400 yen. It's close to the satin subway, which is only 2 stops north and 3 stops east of the main kyoto station which is accessed by the bullet train. I cannot recommend this place enough and would return tomorrow if I could. Brendan Ireland.

In actuality, the room we reserved was for four people, and there were only two of us, so we had plenty of space! A traditional style room with tatami mats on the floor, which was enjoyable. The host, who was not going to be there to welcome us, had apparently messaged me to let me know the door code. I'm not sure why he sent this because I didn't get any emails or messages from application, who I booked through, but someone must have contacted him because we rung the door bell several times and he turned up as I was writing an expedite message to ask for assistance. He was a very kind and accommodating person. Everything was in the area by train and subway, and it was quite strategic for most things. Kinkakuji and Arashiyama were probably 35 minutes away in different directions, so not a long distance. Buses were more helpful in those locations. It was an excellent price and he and his housekeeper thought of everything! There were several free amenities, snacks, body wash, etc. a nice deep bathtub in one of the shower areas, and two washing machines. The walls were very thin but typical in these Japanese houses and the guests in the bedroom next to us were some very noisy and inconsiderate individuals who came home very late and walked up and down all the stairs, conversing and laughing loudly for

Very pleasant location, the proprietors are helpful and pleasant. Even if they dont speak English, they will do everything in their power to assist you. We spent six nights there with 2 children ages 6 and 7. The owners frequently waited for us when we returned in the evening and liked to play with our kids. Our kids still talk about them and enjoyed staying there! We utilized the wellkept and clean kitchen. Showers and bathrooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast is not provided, but you can have coffee, water, and tea for free at any time, as well as snack free. We loved that location so much and strongly urge everyone to go there. Numerous restaurants and grocery stores are nearby, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the metro stop.

The room we booked was really for 4 people and there were only 2 of us, so we had lots of space! Traditional style room with tatami mats on the floor, which was nice to experience. The host apparently messaged me to tell me what the code was for the door as he wasn't going to be there to welcome us. Im not sure how he sent this as I didn't get any emails or messages through expedite whom I booked with but someone must have contacted him as we rang the door bell a few times and he turned up as I drafted expedite to ask for help. he was very sorry and a very nice and helpful gentleman. The location was close to everything by train and subway, quite central for most things kinkakuji and Arashiyama were probably 35 minutes in various directions, so not a long distance. Buses were more helpful in those places. It was a great price and it seemed like he and his housekeeper thought of everything! There was a variety of free amenities snacks, body washes, etc. A nice deep bathtub in one of the shower rooms and two washing machines. Surrounding is a quiet residential area with a big park. There are two supermarkets nearby (Fresco and アイハート). So its very easy to grab some late night snacks. Walk 10mins to the Saiin hankyu station or 15mins to Saiin Ranken station. Location is fine :)) They didnt tell me the door password in advance and there was no staff when i arrive. I just text them with line to ask for the checkin method in front of their door and it was raining so hard :( it wasnt a good beginning. And we found a small spider in bed.. But luckily the host (host’s father) was very nice! He invited us and some French guests to make Takoyaki together. It was so fun :D Overall, the hostel is good :)
