According to the Kyoto city accommodation tax regulation, from October 1, 2018 accommodation tax will be charged per person per night additionally:
room charge under JPY 20,000 - JPY 200
from JPY 20,000 to JPY 50,000 - JPY 500
over JPY 50,000 - JPY 1,000
As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 

【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  
For room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   
For room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  
For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400  
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   
For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 
For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   

For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.  
Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in.
Please be informed that the hotel can provide the service in Japanese only. If children stay in existing bed, please kindly pay for your stay at the hotel as entrance fee is 1,000 JPY. In addition, children stay in extra bedding, please make booking as adult.

Breakfast is served from 08:00-09:00.Guests who wish to have smoking smells removed from the room with deodorizer, please inform the hotel at the time of booking. This hotel does not have Smoking or Non-Smoking rooms.
