Fabulous small boutique hotel in a quiet and safe street, and easily accessible to old town and new town. Debbie and her team are so hospitable. There are 2 buildings directly opposite each other. Our 2 night stay was in a Suite and the room was beautiful. Absolutely spic and span and well designed, plenty of room. The breakfast is great. Choice of western or asian style, with help yourself area as well, and it is all very fresh and delicious. A wonderful stay.

Location was great - 15 mins walk into the old town (with some good places of interest en route) and for the evening - the area has many fabulous cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The whole hotel is really arty and chilled. Our room (102) was large and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a choice of local or western breakfast each morning with lots of PG tips!! Would definitely go back. We walked the whole of Ipoh twice over during our stay and agreed that our hotel was in the best location!

Debbie was so warm and welcoming! Room is clean and contains all the needed amenities; perhaps add transparency cover to the upstairs bathroom in the family room. Nasi Lemak and food spread at breakfast were really good as well! Overall, thoroughly impressed and would patron this hotel again if u visit Ipoh!

The hotel is small but absolutely charming. The reception sets the tone with it’s quirky decor that continues into the bedroom. I give 5 stars to this hotel. Location is convenient. Easy to call Grab. Restaurants are located within 10min of walk. I recommend Restauron Ipoh 新怡保飯店 for dinner. Inside the room, clean, tidy and you have everything you need, tooth brush, tooth paste, coffee machines, nespresso capsule etc. air con is strong, bed is comfortable, can relax after a hot day’s walk. Breakfast is made to order, fresh and delicious. Staff are exceptional friendly. I stay in many 5-stars hotel but nobody like Bedrock who will bring you to the room and show you where the amenities are. Debbie, the hotel manager, is very friendly and helpful on any question you may have. I’m very happy with my stay here at Bedrock and will recommend to travelers in Ipoh.

An excellent choice close to old town for as one night stay. Very welcoming owner and advise on how best to use our time. We booked the suite excellent facilities for the price point… room could do with some TLC decor wise but was very clean.
