Resort ini terletak di pinggir pantai, tidak jauh dari bandara. Pasir pantainya putih dan bersih karena dikelola oleh-oleh pengelola resort. Di pagi hari kami melihat tukang kebersihan membersihkan pantai dan taman. Area resort ini cukup luas. Ada hamparan pantai, lapangan bola berpasir, tempat bermain anak, apotek hidup, dan taman yang bersih dan indah. Kondisi kamar cukup bersih dan pelayanannya cukup baik. Kamar ada yang di darat dan di atas laut. Suasana sangat tenang. Banyak kursi di pinggir untuk bersantai menikmati pemandangan pantai. Jika ingin pijat di luas ruangan juga tersedia yang menghadap pantai. Ada kafe di pinggir Pantai sehingga Anda bisa menikmati makan malam sambil mendengarkan deburan ombak.

Saya membeli voucher dari penyedia lokal yang menawarkan diskon 50 untuk menginap selama 4 hari 3 malam di Langkawi Lagoon. Dengan mengunjungi situs webnya, saya menemukan bahwa ini adalah hotel bintang 5 dengan pemandangan spektakuler. Pertama, mereka tidak menawarkan layanan antar-jemput gratis dari bandara ke hotel, padahal jaraknya sangat dekat kurang dari 5 menit naik mobil. Taksi yang kami tumpangi dari bandara sangat mahal. Ketika kami tiba di hotel, terjadi masalah saat pendaftaran kamar. Mereka meminta garansi dan karena saya tidak membawa banyak uang tunai, saya membayar dengan kartu kredit. Terjadi masalah saat transaksi jadi mereka meminta saya duduk sementara mereka terus mencoba. Meskipun tidak dikonfirmasi, tetapi saya rasa nomor kartu kredit saya dicuri pada saat itu karena itu adalah satusatunya saat di mana saya meninggalkan kartu kredit tanpa penjagaan. Sekitar dua bulan kemudian saya menerima panggilan telepon dari penyedia kartu kredit baru yang menyatakan bahwa kartu saya telah digunakan untuk membeli tiket pesawat online. Lokasinya berasal dari Malaysia. Sekali lagi, meskipun saya tidak dapat memastikan siapa yang mencuri nomor kartu pinjaman saya dan nomor TVnya, Anda harus waspada. Kesulitan melakukan transaksi kartu kredit terjadi hampir setiap hari selama saya tinggal di sana. Suatu saat mereka harus melakukannya dengan cara lama menggunakan mesin EDC. Lokasi resort ini tidak jauh dari bandara Langkawi. Jalan menuju resort agak tergores. Resortnya sangat indah. Berhadapan dengan pantai. Pasir pantai putih dan bersih. Kamarnya bagus dan bersih Sarapannya juga mewah dan banyak pilihan. Staf juga sangat baik dan membantu.

The hotel is a bit far from town, but not very far from the airport. Since I was staying on a stilt structure over the water, the experience is unique. The room is large, with a standalone pantry, a sitting room with windows, a balcony with a table and chairs for a cuppa in the morning, a bathroom with a separate shower and a bathtub. The overall feeling of the room was really comfortable. There is no wifi in the room, and the mobile signal is weak. It's exciting to see the sunrise and sunset. The wooden platform was comfortable, with a village feel to it and a stunning view all around. Breakfast was ordered for your room, but you had to order it the day before. I did not make a purchase.

A really nice room, but everything beyond your room is an example of what happens when you build a resort and do zero maintenance, management or staff training for six years. It's comical. It *could* be so good, but it really isn't. At $40 its worthwhile - don't pay more than that til the reviews get better. Few food options: empty restaurants with menu items unavailable. Hard to find: the address doesn't get you to the right place. Amazingly, because the property is *within* Ombak Villas there is no sign and calling the phone number for the hotel yields only more confusion. When we got to reception even they didnt know where we were staying. A frustrating and stressful start to a stay.
