Because we had a morning flight the following morning, we stayed here for the night. After 3 am, we walked to the hotel to check in, but we were unable to because they had maintenance to be done on all of the rooms. I could smell the pesticide, so I think it was more like fumigation. We were instructed to return at 6 am. Our hefty bags were left in the hotel. At 9 a. M., we finally made it back to the hotel after dinner. Because we had heavy luggage, we had requested rooms on the ground level. Unfortunately, we were apparently late, and all the rooms below had been filled. We were given first-floor accommodations. We had to carry our heavy suitcases up a steep staircase, and there was no one to assist us. We requested a taxi in the morning, and I informed the front desk to deliver one for 5.30 a. M. The rooms were compact and basic, but generally clean. We had a restful nights sleep. At 5 in the morning, the front desk contacted to inform us that the taxi was waiting. Apparently the lone receptionist had taken the time wrong. Fortunately, we were prepared, but we were 15 minutes late in making our descent. The exhausted taxi driver appeared dissatisfied. The 10-minute drive to the airport cost rm 35. Will we return? Maybe.

This is my third visit and I am not disappointed. This is good value for money. The hotel doesn't have a lift and it might be tiring carrying heavy luggage.

Hotel ini tidak jauh dari bandara Penang. Saya hanya perlu berjalan kaki selama 20 menit dari hotel ke bandara dalam waktu kurang dari 20 menit. Kamarnya besar dan cukup nyaman, tetapi dindingnya tipis jadi saya terbangun oleh-oleh tamu lain di koridor. Tidak ada lift di hotel-hostel ini

We stayed here for one night because we had an early morning flight the next morning. We arrived at the hotel after 3 am to check in, but we were unable to do so because all the rooms had maintenance done. I feel like it was more like fumigation as I could smell the pesticide. We were ordered to return after 6 am. We left large baggage behind in the hotel. After supper at 9 a.m., we finally made it back to the hotel. We wanted accommodation on the ground floor since we had huge luggage. Unfortunately, we were late, and all of the rooms down the hall had been booked. We were given rooms on the ground floor. We had to carry our heavy bags up a steep staircase, and nobody was nearby to assist us. In the morning, we needed a taxi and told reception to arrange one by 5.30 a.m. The rooms were modest, basic, and comparatively clean. We got a good nights sleep. At 5 a.m., reception called to say that a taxi was waiting. Evidently, the lone receptionist had a time error. Luckily, we were ready but 15 minutes late going down. I spent one night there with my partner to check in at the opening. The price is reasonable, the room is comfy, and the decoration is beautiful. I did not feel dissatisfied with their service, the cleanliness of the room is also great.
