Small and comparatively cheap small hotel in the city center near the night market. Friendly personal, shared fridge and simple rooms with AC. We recommend for people who not need comfort but need AC.

We booked a taxi to the hotel when we got to kota kinabalu around the same time, and we woke up around the same time to the sounds of the moving tables and chairs while the restaurant under us prepared for the day. The photo that was posted on papplication was a hoax. The actual location is the street to the back of the stated location, which is named a legend of the hotel. Their website has the contact information. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk. They gave us a little room and it looks very, very old. There is a restaurant nearby that smells a lot of Malaysian signature spice in the room. Our room also smelled of the very pungent Malaysian spices. Around the same time, my partner and I woke up to the sounds of moving tables and chairs as the restaurant below prepares for the day. We were so disappointed that we even wanted to shift to a different hotel. Yet, we might just end up in the same situation as this hotel. We stayed here for two nights, and the air conditioning broke both nights. Also, it looks like the hotel is situated where there are many juvenile delinquents around, so never stay at this hotel!.

This hotel is quite good as the price is reasonable. The place is clean and worth staying. The downside is the location of this hotel is quite difficult to find, hardly accessible by older people with disabilities, and the rooms are limited so please book early before you go.

They promise tv and cable but the tv was not working since 2012 as there is a sign saying so. Also, the towels were so wore out that one can see thru; also, no daily cleaning there, in fact not even once in 11 days. The wifi signal it was really weak. The owner or manager not a great customer service. Too many things to mention.

When we ask for toilet paper they say that it's impossible to provide us some because the cleaning person was not there that day. Need to ask the manager for a refund before they find a way to find toilet paper in this big city. Also have to flight with cockroach since there are many in the room.
