Effective from June 1, 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4 and 5-star hotels, and MYR 2 per room per night for 0 to 3-star hotels. The star rating will be in accordance to the rating from Local Council and should the rating differ from the website, the local council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.
Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check in.

About Hype Eco Park Resort
The 3-star Hype Eco Park Resort is placed in the vicinity of Monkey Beach. The venue comprises 45 rooms. It offers a safe deposit box and a parking on the premises.
It is a 20-minute walk from Teluk Bahang Dam and a 10-minute drive from Masjid Bukit Bendera. This accommodation is approximately 1 km from the centre of Teluk Bahang.Teluk Bahang Jetty is within walking distance of this hotel.
Featuring views of the garden, air-conditioned rooms are appointed with heating, a multi-channel television and a coffee machine. Showers and bath sheets are also included in each unit.
There is a restaurant for guests to enjoy their meal. The restaurant is popular during lunchtime due to its local menu. You can dine at TaiTong Seafood, within 150 metres from the property.
