The room was comfortable, sufficiently spacious, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good.... if you know it will be an Asian/Malaysian meal. i.e. rice, beef and chicken curries (mild), eggs, and good sauces. There was also toast, jam, cereals, juice and tea or coffee. Coffees from the espresso machine cost extra.

Oceania has become our favourite whenever we are in Kota Kinabalu. Staff are helpful and attentive ro your requests. They prepared ironing board and prayer mat even without prior request. Extra Pillows are useful . Nice space for luggages. Bathroom is spacious .. will definitely be back !

Early check-in or late check-out arrangements can be made at applicable charges. Late check-out can be requested at the reception and it is subject to availability on the day itself. This will not be applicable during peak season or public holidays .Please contact the property for more information.
For all reservations, the Hotel requires a deposit for each room being incidental charges upon check in amounting of RM100. Deposit may be placed in cash or on a credit card at check-in time. For deposit using credit card, preauthorization by the Hotel is required.
The Oceania Hotel enforces a no smoking policy in all guest rooms and enclosed public areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. A cleaning fee of RM500 will be imposed upon the guest(s) concerned should there be smoking.
Open for walk in and in house guest.
Please be informed that we will be starting our major lobby renovation from June 25, 2025 and are forecasting it to be for 3 months. Rest assured that the check-in counter will still be presentable at all times and will not affect guests' experience, as we will have our temporary check-in area.
