Our stay at the pantai inn received five stars for its easy checkin, excellent customer service leading us directly to our room, complimentary drinks (a huge win! ), delicious morning breakfast, and ideal location. Our time at the pantai inn was fantastic! The customer service was outstanding! They were able to quickly turn around our room when we arrived well before our checkin! All of the recommendations from the front desk were excellent! You cant beat the location, which is just a short distance from downtown lajolla and the shore. They offer free water, sparkling water and soda, all of which came in handy! Parking was available on site, so it was incredibly convenient! Due to the extremely thin walls, this hotel only received four stars. Your neighbors convoys, flushing the toilet, showering, etc. Can be heard by you. We werent too concerned about this because we were only in the room at night when the noise had diminished. However, if you are sensitive to loud noises like this, that could be an issue. Overall, we are very pleased with the staff at panais indulging us! Their hospitality made our vacation so easy! Without denying, well return!.4.8/55 Jan 2024

This hotel is an exceptional location in the city of los angeles, where you can stay right next to the ocean. It has lovely common areas and recently renovated rooms. The atmosphere is quite impressive. Much better than i had anticipated. Hotels usually disappoint me, which is unusual. They are typically deceptive. This location is the opposite. When it comes to everything, especially when im spending money on vacation left and right, ill be very picky. I usually feel disappointed in terms of subpar quality and service. Everything they do and offer is well maintained by this establishment. Our room was spotless, and it had everything we could possibly need, including a keurig coffee maker that delighted my girlfriend. Very friendly staff. There is incredibly good location. Pantai inn is conveniently located with ocean views, easy beach access, and just a short walk from Prospect Avenue shops restaurants. The rooms are very charming, the staff is friendly. The hotel is beautiful. We made a great deal on the room by booking through their website during the holidays. It was well worth the money! We chose an ocean view suite, and it was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The motel offers free water, soda, coffee, as well as fast internet. There was also secluded courtyard for all guests with sweeping views. First, the walls are quite thin, so we could hear our neighbors distinctly too well, according to other reviews. However, i could still hear the ocean waves all night, which made up for it. On our last day, housekeeping arrived in our room an hour and he asked when we were leaving. This felt teasing because it seemed like we werent welcome. I understand they might have been busy and needing to switch rooms quickly, but it appeared eerie to interrupt Guests stay by asking when they would leave. Last but not least, it appears that they offer two bottles of wine for purchase. When we arrived, there was only one, yet we didnt drink it because we had brought our own drinks. After we left, we discovered that we received billed for bottled wine that she never consumed. Fortunately, my friend over the phone removed the charge when ive called, however, just remember to doublecheck in case there arent any available if you are staying in4.8/521 Jul 2023

Honestly, the entire crew was very friendly. Every morning, they served a delicious breakfast! Edwin and norma were really helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly. We wanted to stay another night to avoid flying because we came during shitstorms. I believe that the review about room 101 from a week ago was written by whoever, unfortunately, heard my family upstairs. We tried to keep everyone on their toes. I felt bad every time i heard the floor creak beneath my feet. Yes, the walls and floors are thin! To be honest, this is my biggest complaint here. But it seems like an old building. So youll just need to recognize that. Im unsure how to fix it without undergoing broader renovations here more frequently. The kitchen area had leaking when we first entered. However, they quickly fixed it. It was clean and comfortable enough. An old taco mattress was the only comfort issue. That wasnt too bad, though. Because of its excellent location, ive stayed there again. At first, it seemed uncomfortable, but we were able to get by with good luck. They have two small lots. Thus, that was actually fine. Although it is on incredibly small and busy street for parking, there is hazard if you are traveling with fewer cars. Great views were seen! The room was spacious. There was also he kitchen. This is an excellent space. Just ten unfortunate drawbacks, some of which are minor. You are fine unless you dont mind the thin walls. Late at night, things do get really quiet.4.6/526 Apr 2024

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The room was directly across from the ocean and beach walkway. Absolutely stunning. We had an amazing suite, it was surprisingly quiet after 10 pm. I was allowed to use the beach chairs, and the breakfast was very tasty. Not to mention the 24hour free coffee, soft drinks, or bottled water. When we tried to make another reservation for our next year anniversary, but it turned out to be too soon. Will definitely return, we really enjoyed walking around the cove area, so many nice restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Our experience was extremely memorable for my 18th anniversary. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They kept water and other free items stocked in the lobby. Suggested cafes within walking distance. Provided towels upon request. The room we were in had an amazing view of the ocean. Although we had trouble with the casting tv due to internet issues but we werent too happy with it so it wasnt a big deal. My husband wasn't very happy about the breakfast but i thought it was great! One thing he would recommend is more hanging places for towels in his bathroom. This tiny hotel was ideal for our brief stay in la Jolla, but i doubt ill return for a few reasons. The room itself was fine, however, the queen bed was unquestionably kingsized, and the bathroom was very small (and the only mirror in the room was located above the sink in its bathroom, so only one person could get ready at if someone else wasnt using the toilet), and there were very thin walls. We could hear our neighbors talking, while the pipes from their shower were so loud that we were awakened each morning by them). We had a very positive experience and will definitely try to book another stay here in the future! My husband, my motherinlaw, and i stayed here for two nights while visiting our daughter. We enjoyed our stay! The location is unbeatable, just across the street from the grass and ocean, so beautiful! Both the front desk staff and the manager, edwin, were very kind and helpful. The best place to stay in la Jolla! The rooms were very spacious and a total of 600 square feet. Very comfortable because of the fireplace. The kitchenette was incredibly nice. Love that you can chromecast on the tvs! Colimentary water, sodas, and homemade cookies were provided, which was great. Steps away from lajollan beaches, including la jolia cove!.4.6/524 Mar 2023

I hope your stay at the panai is as wonderful as ours has been! Where do i begin? Reading a few unfavorable reviews left me feeling anxious. I was outside the refund window because ive made my reservation through application. Since he was stuck and had paid hefty amounts of money, my only option was to grin and accept it and come for my stay. Boy, im glad ill! We arrived four hours before checkin, and unfortunately, they couldnt get the room cleaned any sooner, so they kept our luggage while we went about. When we entered our room, it was spotless. In my younger days, icing on cleanliness. The furnishings appeared dated, but they were in decent shape, in good condition, not in need of repair or clean. My bed was absolutely queen, which was fantastic! There were numerous breads, eggs, fruits, meats that werent even kingsize, with depressions in the center. Although mr. Gregory and the other employees are friendly and accommodating, the grounds are wellkept and have paved paths. From this location, people, sea lions like pelican, marine gulls can be seen from this place. There are several restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. It is merely ten minutes walk away. I will most certainly return to this hotel in the future. Being so close to lajolla cove was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking! The service was also excellent. They had offered a bassinet for our infant because it was our first trip together. I hadnt realized i had forgotten my wedding ring and necklace from the bedside table until ive almost returned home because ill also havent seen them before. We cant wait to return for our visit in lajolla in the future. The pandai inn is a fantastic hotel. We reserved another room for this month because of the excellent location and staff! Taylor and ashley were both quite helpful and made our weekend getaway extra special. As we made the ideal reservation for us, she was really patient with me. Our room was in an ideal position, but i assume all of them are fantastic. Waves practically crashed right outside our door. When he inquired with the girls about setting up opulence for my wife, they went above and beyond. Everything was well worth the cost.
