About STEG KUALA LUMPUR
In the heart of Kuala Lumpur, STEG Kuala Lumpur is just a stone’s throw away from the World Trade Centre. You can find SOGO Mall, the Petronas Towers, General Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Central Market and the Sultan Ismail LRT all within a 3km radius.
By engaging local artists to paint Malaysian poems and other creative illustrations on our building’s external walls, the hotel pays homage to the art and culture of Kuala Lumpur. Indeed, all bedrooms have been decked out with specially-designed wallpaper, highlighting the city’s landscape, and our lobby is adorned with art installations created by local talent.
We wanted to enhance the Chow Kit district, and teamed up with the City Council to clean, repaint and beautify the area. Ultimately, reviving the district, following a few quiet years under the pandemic, while showcasing Malaysia's rich culture.
