I visited in 2014 and returned in 2015. I highly recommend this place to travelers from the Netherlands, australia, and canada, and everyone cant help but love it! Among the most stunning sights in cambodia and also the best guesthouse ive ever been to. Love the architecture, the view of the garden, and the spirit of the owner and assistant working there.

The guest house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the interior design is unique based on the theme of wood. There is a flower garden next to the house. Every corner is decorated with diy wood. Breakfast is simple, you have to cook eggs, sausages, etc. Great location, the first town u hit from Simpang pulai. There is plenty to see going uphill from the guest house, flowers, tomato, beetroot, hydroponic farm, chili, etc. It may be difficult for some, but its worth it. You will be rewarded with views of kampung raja. The small kitchen may be cramped during peak season. I missed the turn to the guest house a few times, especially at night. Highly recommended, will definitely be back!.

Something different. The place is mainly locals, will never have crowds. The house is super clean, the staff Troji is very friendly, kind, helpful, easy to communicate, smart, and resourceful. My kids at 3yo and 5yo enjoyed very much here.

Troji and his intern Nacho were great hosts, friendly and accommodating. Nacho took me and another guest on a hike, and we all joined Troji for dinner one night at a nearby restaurant. The hostel was clean and quiet, with plenty of cooking implements and condiments and fridge space. I enjoyed playing the guitar there, binge-reading one of the books, and taking walks through the farms nearby. (That was my one disappointment - the farms all have plastic roofing, like greenhouses, so you can enjoy glimpses of the flowers up close but it spoils the view a bit.) A great break from heat and city life. I'd stay there again for sure!

Schönes, natürliches Hostel in den Cameron Highlands. Es ist von Vorteil, mit dem eigenem Auto anzureisen, da das Hostel ca. 25 Minuten Autofahrt vom Hauptort Tanah Rata entfernt liegt.

Westwood Highland Hostel is the perfect getaway for independent, nature-loving backpackers and travelers. While Tanah Rata as Cameron Highlands‘ central town and tourist hotspot is dominated by gigantic hotels and apartment buildings, the slightly out-of-town guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood on a peaceful flower farm. The guesthouse is flawlessly clean, designed and decorated in a modern way and has all the facilities you‘d need (fully equipped kitchen, fridge to use, washing machine, small snack bar including cold beverages (also beer), comfy beds,...). And of course, it has Troji. Troji is the most friendly and helpful host you can imagine. As a young globetrotter himself, he knows exactly how to offer his guests the most enjoyable stay. As a self-taught barista he treated my gf and me to some amazing Cappuccini - something hard to find in tea-focused Malaysia. He invited us over for a family dinner, which was nothing short of the best authentic Malay food that we have had throughout our journey. He even took me out on a fantastic 3h forest-, jungle- and tea-plantation-hike. Born and raised in Cameron Highlands, he obviously knows the best trails in the backcountry, but also has great advice for the more popular walks like Mossy Forest. Staying with Troji was a great experience filled with heart-warming hospitality. If you are seeking a warm-welcoming guesthouse with a truly wonderful host, Westwood Highland Hostel is your place to be.

For backpackers and travelers, westwood Highland hostel is the ideal place to stay, even if you are in the heart of the city of cambodia and surrounded by enormous hotels and apartment complexes, the slightly out of town guesthouse is situated on a peaceful flower farm in a quiet neighborhood. The guesthouse is spotless, beautifully designed, and furnished modernly, with all the amenities you could possibly need. He is a young globetrotter who knows the best trails in the backcountry and has excellent recommendations for more popular hikes, such as tea plantation, and he even took me on a fantastic 3hour forest, jungle, and tea plantation hike. Whatever your destination, you would need to take a taxi, schedule a tour, or hitchhike. It was always the latter for us because hitchhiking in the highlands is ridiculously simple. People are always willing to pick you up, locals and tourists rely on it, and we never had to wait more than ten minutes to get a ride. Go. On the road.

Westwood Highlands is the ideal location for a peaceful and relaxing trip to the cameroon hills, nestled amidst lush flower beds, mountains, and nature. The owner, toji, is truly remarkable. The establishment boasts a charming sitout area, delicious coffee, a practical kitchen, and delightful music.

Simply put, this is heaven. Troji is a wonderful man who is always willing to share his knowledge and expertise. The guesthouse is brandnew and immaculate. You will become addicted if you ask tranji for a coffee or cappuccino!.

A homestay or guest house in a somewhat remote location. It has a flower plantation field next to the building that allows you to take some great photos, but the downside is that it is covered and surrounded by houses that do not offer you the natural view of hills and the sky. The rooms amenities are minimal, but the common area is quite nice. Breakfast is provided, but you must prepare your own. Eggs, sausages, cornflakes, bread, jams, butter, packed juices, and milk are the main ingredients. There is a small cafe counter where you can order hot drinks like latte, expresso, hot chocolate, etc. The family room upstairs has an attached bathroom, and the elderly may have trouble accessing it because the stairs lack handrails. It will be a nice place to stay over for a group of friends.
