A long story to be told, arora view is the best. Its one of maafushis finest hotels, in my opinion. The ladies are friendly. They treated me like i was spoiled. Ive been there twice and will return. If my family and friends in the uk arent staying at arafuschi, they should not bother visiting maalfusi.

The 2.5monthold arora view, which is 200 meters from the harbor, is ideal for both solo travelers and larger groups. The staff is excellent and incredibly kind. Every day, the manager will greet you and take care of you as soon as you arrive at the hotel during the day. He will most likely bring you one of the two scooters to the meeting place when you have an appointment due to upcoming halfday or day trips or diving. They will look after your wish without even thinking about it. Everyone should stay at this hotel, its fantastic! It will be even better if the managements plan is implemented.

The hotel is small but nice. The receptionist, shami, is very friendly and is usually there all the time. One day i was the only guest and they just made me a basic breakfast. There was supper buffet the next day. Rooms are average, nothing special. Toilet smells terrible, fridge not working, window faces back wall with c machines, very noisy. Location away from masses, which is good, and breakfast tables have tastier views of the sea. Restaurant is never open and expensive compared to the local restaurants on the island. Other guesthouses offer better value.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location. Throughout our stay, the proprietor, manager, and staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived and left, owner personally met us at the dock. He was also gracious enough to let us remain in our room for an additional few hours while we waited for our boat back. The rooms are also immaculate and equipped with everything you would expect, including an electric kettle and a hair dryer. Three of the rooms dont have vistas or windows to mention, while the other four rooms have balconies and windows, but the building isnt seaside, so the view is fine. Also, three of them also feature bathroom doors that look like honeymoon, which is advisable if you plan to travel with your family. Simply request deluxe rooms with standard bathroom entrances. From the food, hospitality, to the actual rooms, everything else about it is fantastic!.

Arora view is a hotel run by sylvia, whose owner is considerate. He picked us up from the port, was present whenever we needed it during our stay, and at the end strolled with us back to the harbor and made sure we got on the appropriate ferry (easy to mess up and also assisted countless strangers in the dock - great people) When choosing an adventure package, she provided us with excellent advice that were precise. His employees also reflect his behavior and attitude. Always cheerful and always available to assist visitors. I wish them success because this hotel team is one of threestar hotels that has received dozens of complaints from covid19. The best thing that can happen to them is that they only lose customers when they decide to deliberately close for ten months to build more floors to expand the capacity. We stayed in irrational glass walls in rooms like the ones in these photos. You should go for it if you can upgrade. Although the room we had was adequate and functional, upgrading would have been more enjoyable. However, the hotel selection was the right choice.

Highly recommended! The staff is very friendly, kind and professional. From port greeting to luggage assistance, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and wellbeing at them. Rooms were cleaned daily, the ones with balconies are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Only 5 minutes from bikini beach. Breakfast was delicious! You also have free items for the beach and swimming.

Arora view and arora inn both have incredibly lovely surroundings. We were meant to arrive later in the afternoon, but without prior notice, the host was waiting for us in town in early morning and treated us like his own family from the moment we arrived. His staff was genuinely kind, considerate, and welcoming, working extremely hard to make us feel at home. They played music from our nation, they were amazingly gracious and attentive. The rooms were always spotless, breakfast was consistently excellent and varied, there were snorkeling tools available, etc. When we met them in lobby, everyone was friendly and helpful, even allowing us to take snooze after checkout. After that, when we entered the lobby with smiles and assistance, their friendly service made it easy for me to shower after checking out. Finally, she led us into the harbor and brought our bags. Although there are small repairs here and there, some rooms can have little windows with no view at all, its not serious. Overall, excellent service, highly recommended.

Your staff, including the manager, truly exceeded my expectations in terms of level of care and professionalism. From the friendly welcome at checkin to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, every member of the team demonstrated genuinely committed to making sure visitors feel valued and wellcared for. We were staying in room 111, which included breakfast and dinner as part of supper. To be honest, we were concerned that the food might not be suitable for our tastes, but it was unexpectedly delicious! Would recommend it 10/10, as well as the management, who, by the way, was very friendly and constantly checking on us, and he deserves praise for his outstanding support during our stay. Their consistent efforts to check on visitors demonstrated their genuine commitment to ensuring utmost comfort and enjoyment. It is evident that their dedication goes above and beyond, creating ambiance that truly sets the bar for hospitality. Thank you for providing mr. Arora view was a wonderful and enjoyable stay! The owner spoke and caught up with every opportunity he could to make sure we were there and that each day was fantastic! Picked up directly from the port and organized our speed boat transfer from airport direct to the hotel. Saves the hassle of ferrying, when we arrived it was pouring rain, and when arriving at maafushi, someone came to collect our bags and umbrellas for us all. You can book the excursions through the hotels as the prices are the same as what you would get on the rest of the island and explains each option thoroughly, just ask for anything they would be happy to explain each tour and the benefit to each one. During our stay, every employee at the motel was extremely helpful and accommodating, but they all care about making sure you are taken care of. Breakfast was simple but delicious, keeping you full until lunch or late afternoon, while dinner was also good. It does take some time to prepare dinner, like the majority of islands, so you can order too in advance and then head upstairs to get ready or walk around the area until your meal is ready. Overall, it felt like rehomecoming, which is something id recommend to anyone visiting the maldives!.

All guests (including children) will be charged a green tax of USD 6 per night.
The guest house is located in the local island of Maafushi where the Government regulations require that guests do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the area. However, the hotel can arrange excursions to picnic islands for guests where these restrictions are not applied.

Transfer to Maafushi Hotels

To reach the hotels in Maafushi Island, a scheduled ferry OR speedboat will be arranged for which payment will be collected upon check –in at the hotel.

Your flight details and full names of your traveling party will be required at the time of booking or at least 3 days prior to your arrival.

Scheduled Ferry
• Ferryboat takes 90 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and costs USD 2.00 per person.
• Ferry departure from Male’ at 03:00 PM / Ferry departure from Maafushi at 07:30 AM
• If your flight arrives BEFORE 01:00 PM, it is possible to take the scheduled ferry.
• If your flight arrives AFTER 01:00 PM, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male’
• No Ferry services on Friday.

SpeedBoat
• Speedboat takes 35 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and costs from USD 160 to USD 200per trip
• Advance booking is required for speedboat transfer
