The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and always helpful. The resort had everything we wanted and made for a memorable experience. Don’t know that we will be able to top this hotel and we will be back.

My fiancé and I stayed at Atelier and it was absolutely AMAZING! Truly the best all-inclusive food I’ve ever had. The service was also incredible. In particular, we had so much fun with Miguel when we were enjoying drinks and food in the beach area — he was always anticipating whatever we needed before we even asked! He and Andres were so kind and attentive, especially since I was practicing my Spanish. We also had an amazing time at the bars around the hotel. El Cielo was incredible, and Alberto, Danilo, and Karen took such great care of my fiancé and me during our visit up there. They were truly wonderful. This was easily the best food and service I’ve experienced at an all-inclusive resort. I’m so grateful to the staff for making our stay so special and for giving me such a great opportunity to practice Spanish. We can’t wait to come back! 💛

I cannot say enough about Atelier! We have been to Mexico roughly 20 times but this was our first stay at this resort, and it did not disappoint. Resort was impeccable, rooms were beautiful (my favorite of any resort I’ve stayed at) and the service was phenomenal. I wish I would have wrote down more names to shout out, but I did want to give a special review of our pool server, Damarys, who could not have been more outstanding!! She was so unbelievably accommodating and sweet to our entire group. We did not want to leave her!! Thank you to all the unbelievable staff at Atelier! We will be back!

The resort was amazing. Room, food, services, everything 10/10. Only downside with booking through expedia is you don't get the airport shuttle included, therefor you have to pay for that. If you book through the hotel, the shuttle is free to the airport.

We just spent a week at Atelier Playa Mujeres from January 25–31, 2026, and had the most wonderful time. This was a family trip with my husband, sister, and mom, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. We’ve stayed at three other resorts in Cancun before, and this one is by far the most luxurious. We kept talking about how incredible the food was, and the customer service was outstanding. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, made eye contact, and genuinely seemed happy to help—it really made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The weather wasn’t ideal (cool and rainy at times), but even that couldn’t take away from the experience. We still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt very well taken care of the entire week. We also did the hydrotherapy and massage at the spa, and both were excellent—no surprise that they’ve won awards. It was truly a highlight of the trip. After reading a few one-star reviews here, I honestly feel many of them don’t reflect the reality of this resort. The hotel and staff clearly put in tremendous effort, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. I would happily recommend this place to anyone—especially family and friends—and would absolutely love to return.

The entire facility was spotless. You always saw workers scrubbing, repainting, and repairing. The workers are so friendly! They want to make sure you have a wonderful stay. I’d go back just for the food. Literally the highlight! The steakhouse is a must
