The lovely service from everyone, and especially Lila, a very attentive and wonderfully friendly lady. We will return. With their free breakfast promotion, they provided an incredible bargain. The room was clean, bright, with a view of the Pico de Orizaba citlaltepetl and el core, nice towels, hot water, and good internet connection. Our one-night stay continued for three more days. Yes, parking was a challenge, but the staff went above and beyond to assist with the car. One other initial issue was the nearby electrical power transformers running. We weren't aware of it after the first day. It might be that the hotel can block that noise. Even if I was a local of Palapa, the hotels restaurant is a pleasure. We highly recommend the fantastic local coffee from Veracruz, the delicious freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, and the huevos divorciados and the chilaquiles del Pollo to die for. Fresh baked bread and pastries add to the restaurant's business. Every day, there is an overflowing table, but there is no wait.

Wow. This is one of the best night hotels I have ever stayed at. We stayed in the gardenia suite, which was a large, spotless room with a wall of windows and an outdoor patio with a table and chairs. Staff is friendly, the WiFi is fast, the parking is free, the parking area is enclosed and secure. There is plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. The hair dryer, the bedside, laundry service at reasonable prices, and security are always available. The property is well situated, just a few blocks from the lovely parquet Suarez. When you visit Palapa, youre going to be pleasantly surprised by your stay here.
