This hotel is lovely. This does not mean that it is necessarily practical. The hotel was built in 1848. It has a lovely restaurant and lovely stairways. Attention. You have to be careful or, if you fall, you will be landed in the hospital or worse. There are numerous steps. The drawback is that there were no bathrooms in the bedrooms in 1848. These hotel rooms have a plastic, transparent cube. Yes, a cube. There is a toilet, a sink, and a shower in the cube. A sign above the shower asks you to let water run. I let the water run and the room was filled. It turns out that one lets the faucet run in the sink. A small error, but the room soon became flooded. The to is ok. The room has air conditioning. The location is excellent. The hotel is encircled by lovely, historic structures.

This place has a great location, close to everything on a semi-busy street, so there will be noise, but nothing that we could not handle. This place is a very good hotel with warm, welcoming and wonderful staff. They are always ready to help you. If you are interested in staying at a hotel with an antique feel but still want to and air conditioning, this is the place for you. Free breakfast for all employees we did not get her name was great.

Although we weren't the only guests staying in this motel for three nights, we thought it a little strange, both the building itself and the room were fantastic. They offer an open-roofed patio up the stairs that faces a dining atrium and a shaded interior balcony. The first-floor rooms are lovely, with hot water getting to the shower in the morning. Though they advise you about this, our only complaint is that it does take a long time in the morning to get hot water. When it comes to decent restaurants, Central Guadalajara and the center historic are a little sparse, so the location is a little outside the tourist trail. However, if the hotel restaurant is open, it is not a problem, and it was certainly worth trying and reasonably priced. Breakfast is more formal than standard, but it is nice and Mexican. I believe the hotel primarily operates as a weekend wedding venue, so it orients what it does around that, but it is definitely a departure from the international hotel scene.

Our trip to Guadalajara did not stay properly, so we booked this hotel through application. On arrival, it was closed for repairs. The hotel staff was extremely sorry and accommodating when it was clear we couldn't stay there. They assisted us in receiving a refund from application and helped arrange transportation to a different hotel we discovered. The service was also excellent, even though we didn't get to stay there. We eventually stayed at the no collection which turned out to be in a better location, so I suggest comparing locations before choosing a hotel in Guadalajara.
