We stayed in April 2019, and all the rooms viewed outside the Medina wall are actually a part of it. Still a pretty sight. The only drawbacks to this hotel are that the walls are thin and there is a lot of noise from adjacent rooms and the busy street below, the beds are extremely firm, I prefer a firm mattress, but it was like sleeping on a box spring with a 12 inch mattress topper, and the toilet gas smell, but that is the norm in Morocco. But by moroccan standards, the room was clean and large by moroccan standards, with an assurance bath with a small but adequate shower, good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is served in a cafe a few doors away, which consists of fried eggs, various pastries, bread, yogurt, juice, and teacup coffee. The reception staff were very helpful, speaking good English and French, friendly, and eager to go above and beyond to make our stay go smoothly. We would return there.

I would give this hotel more than a 1010. Super clean, cute, brand new. Located on main road easy to find, direct access I car no need to walk with luggage. cute little food shops below if you need to eat right on your way to any main sights you want to see. Free breakfast in the morning. Delicious moroccan style bread, jams, and cheese eggs. The hotel owner was very helpful, providing advice on how to get to anchor, Ras El Maa etc. and making arrangements for a bus ticket to our next location. The staff did our laundry after 2 weeks of travel. The service is actually better than anything else I've ever received in Morocco. 100 would stay here again. And it was affordable. Also nice views of the mountains from the window see below.

We had a good time overall. We weren't there long, but the entire staff we encountered was outstanding. We decided to stay at this motel since it is outside the Medina and we didn't want to haul all of our luggage through it. The location is ideal because it is only a short hike up a hill to enter. We survived though the shower was small and the beds were a little firm. There was no trouble sleeping in because the roosters began very early in the morning. This is not the hotels fault, but I wanted to mention it in case you are seeking silence.

I had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the location is also very close to the center. The breakfast buffet at the cafe around the corner was excellent, the view from the window was also pretty good.
