You will feel right at home in Tismaree guestfarm. The owner Henry went out of his way to make me comfortable and gladly prepared meals suitable for my diet, with each day something new, delicious, and affordable. He even worked around my schedule for meals, which included early mornings, and recommended local activities for me. I really couldn't recommend Tismaree high enough, because I was able to see the nearby Naukluft national park and drive to Sossusvlei for a day visit quite comfortably. These natural attractions nearby are simply stunning! My four nights here were packed with adventure and so much fun. The accommodation is comfortable and peaceful, and Henry's hospitality is unsurpassed. I will be back again when I am in the area! :)

In April, we had a foursome stay at Tismaree. The proprietors of this establishment and their family are exceptionally kind people. Nothing is too much to ask. For tourists on a budget who want to see Sossovlei, it is quite affordable. Two stayed for two nights and had dinner at Tismaree both nights. On each night, something was prepared that was delightful. They made sure that we could still have a delicious dinner when we returned from Sossovlei late at night.

This tismaree guestfarm and golf is located just outside of the small village of retook, about 200 am southwest of Windhoek, just off the junction on the My 47 Road. Rehoboth is about an hour away, and I believe this little lodge is worth the extra hour drive and is on the way anyway if you are going to Sossusvlei and series. We went to see our daughters u. I. Peace Corps site, and honestly we weren't expecting much, but we were really pleasantly surprised. It has a very nice central building, complete with a wellequipped kitchen, healthy food, a very sophisticated outdoor barbecue and a great little bar with ice cold beer. There is also a room in the central area with some groceries and some golf equipment the golf course is a work in progress but the driving range looks ready to go. There are several individual units, with small porches, large bedrooms, clean and functioning bathrooms, and small sitting areas, and the buildings were built in the last few years. Retook is either a long walk or a short drive, around 34 a.m., and has a school, a bottle shop, what passes for a saloon, and lots of horses, cattle, goats and very cute little children. The owner is a very nice and intelligent man

tismaree guest farm was a great place to stop for us as we were on our way from Sossusvlei to Windhoek. The people were so nice and nice and the food was very good.

We had a great time at the tismaree guestfarm, henry, the owner, was really helpful and gave me some tools because I had problems with my car. He was also always available to provide advice and explain what could be visited around. He is also a very good cook, I really recommend eat at his restaurant, youll be surprised he provides us with different meals at each dinner. The series is at 2 hours from tismaree guestfarm.
