The highlight of our recent trip to Nepal for almost six months was staying in annapurna eco village. We stayed for a week, but we wish we had stayed longer. You are greeted by the lovely scenery and the lovely family who runs it as soon as you arrive. The comfortable cottages are built to blend in with local aesthetics and are surrounded by lush gardens and breathtaking views. Waking up to the Annapurna range and particularly Machapuchare in the early morning is something youll never forget. The gardens of the eco village are the perfect place to enjoy this view and a delicious cup of their own blend of eco tea. There is simply green everywhere and all your worries and stresses are fade away. And it is all functional. The eco village grows all its own fresh organic vegetables, legumes, grains, fruits, teas and coffee. They get the freshest milk straight from their cow and twice a day it goes through a pasteurization process. This is truly the epitome of farmtotable. And the food is delicious! Best dal bhat by far! Every day we were greeted with warmth and love and friendly conversation and show how it is cooked in the kitchen, which is suggested even if your not a cook because it is such a fun place to hang out. All they do is to promote and practice sustainable living and sustainable tourism as well

The Eco village is a beautiful place on top of a hill close to Pokhara. Nice comfy but cold rooms, with warm blankets though. The solar power heated shower water was pretty cold because of the lack of sun probably and there is no alternative hot water. The food is good and we shared stories around the fire at night with the friendly owners family members and other guests. We walked all the way from Pokhara lakeside and it was a great walk but you can also take a taxi or bus for the first part. The next day we walked on to Damphus which again was a nice (and easy) walk with great views. Recommended!

I recently spent two nights at the ecovillage. The earth they inhabit is absolutely precious and innately healing. Both nights I slept soundly and peacefully and felt completely resting after my stay. I came during the offseason and was unable to see the famous 360 degree view of the Himalayas, but despite this my stay was still excellent. I was treated like family by the staff. They are incredibly kind and welcoming. In the morning, going to get a cup of tea and read a book in the dining hall became a treasure. I would greet everyone and engage in discussion. The cuisine is meticulously prepared and consists of 100 local organic ingredients from their garden. If you are sensitive to spicy food, let them know in advance since they cook in a traditional way. The coffee is also made and roasted on site, and make sure you sample their custom blend herbal tea with real Stevie leaves. Im already planning my next trip when the weather is clear so Im ill see you all soon. Thanks for welcoming me into your home. Love from malcolm.

The annapurna ecovillage is the destination to go on if you are searching for a unique getaway. On the very first journey we took to their village, we were greeted warmly by the hikari family. Apart from the fantastic cota, their smiles immediately warm my heart and made me feel at home. Normally, there would be nowhere to do in a village, but we did a lot. We learned a lot about how all of their food is grown on their own farm because the food and beverages are all grown on their own farm. Everything was delicious, fresh, and organic. They even gave us tips on how to cook our favorite dishes on their menu. They also explained how to filter water from rain or springs, how to use solar power, and how to use heat energy from the campfire through the pipes below. I was taken aback! This village truly has a capacity for self-sustaining and has a way of using renewable energy and recycling. A yoga space is available to practice and meditate. To get away from the bustle of the city, they have the ideal location to see the mountains and the greenery. We went hiking, and it was wonderful and fresh. With the fresh air, your mind will relax, and your whole body will be revived. I assure you that they do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

Overall, our 1 night stay there was truly unforgettable. If I could, I would go there again. The best eco-system. The location was incredible and stunning. A great escape from the bustle of Kim. Even in April, we were fortunate that it didn't rain and the weather was so nice, but sadly, the sky wasn't cloudy to see those heavenly mountains. We may have a few of our friends who woke up at 2 am who couldn't see those gorgeous mountains for a while. The cuisine was excellent. Very welcoming staff. Our entire room had an en suite toilet and balcony with the most stunning view, which enhanced the experience. Even from the bathroom, you can take a shower and enjoy the incredible view from a higher up the mountain. Also, the sunset view is also just fantastic.
