I had a great time here. Excellent service, six out of five stars, spotless rooms and beds, a delicious breakfast, and friendly personnel. A huge assistance to my trekking and tourism associations. Nearby supermarkets and restaurants are also close by.

This hotel will always be my home in katmandu. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very clean, the food is delicious, and the staff and manager are very helpful, friendly and honest. The manager also runs a trekking tour business where he arranges everything for you. He even came with me to go outdoor shopping and recommended what clothing was suitable for the trek.

If i visit nepal again, i will stay here again. I had a great time. The coffee is excellent, the beds are cozy, and the air conditioning keeps you warm in the winter! Excellent value for the money, and the staff was incredibly kind!.

Despite being in the offseason, this location was packed with people, mostly western. Located in a convenient part of thamel, behind garden of dreams, easy access to transportation, peaceful and secure neighborhood. It is close to restaurants, coffee shops, clubs and pubs. Dorm beds are very comfortable, wooden structure, not shaky like most accommodation in thamel. Great bedding very comfortable, and each dorm bed has a private locker for valuables. Hot showers are almost always the best i have experienced during my stay in thamel. Spacious and clean bathroom. Wifi stable and fast browsing. Each floor has a balcony. Roof terrace with Arabica coffee, food and beer to relax, and great point to choose this hotel for spas, amazing service, and professional treatment. Thank you again for offering me a free sauna and steam. Highly recommended.

Strongly recommended. Fantastic hotel with dorms, a welcoming owner and staff, a really comfortable bed, and a tidy and cozy atmosphere. Large and tidy bathroom. Powerful hot shower. Excellent highspeed wifi, a lovely roof area for seating, and delicious arabic coffee. The steam and sauna are excellent. I adored it.

Solo female traveller here! I felt extremely safe at Thamel Hostel and Spa. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Relatively cheap accommodation, quiet, outdoor patio, and good location. I would definitely stay again.
