One of the most accommodating places ive ever been is zostel katmandu. The staff is always accessible and extremely kind. They paid close attention to the little things and assisted us with important itineraries like itinerary planning and tours. Their time spent explaining their menu to us, had a hair dryer for us in our room, and made sure we were comfortable traveling around. Ash was also fantastic at giving afternoon tours! The room was immaculate and had an excellent hot shower. It just exuded yashs warmth and friendliness.5.0/519 Dec 2023

I had no trouble answering any of my work calls because of the excellent wifi. The food is delicious, but a little on the pricey side. You could visit carpe diem, which is connected via the zostel rooftop and enjoy the same menu with fewer views. There, you can hide buried bodies, it is quieter than if you are in hygienic conditions. When i dare anyone to tune the guitar there, the strings vanish in seconds. I will recommend this hotel for solo travelers. If you are a backpacker, the zostal is the best for you. The hotel is clean and offers excellent hospitality. Zostel staff are very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. Hotel offers almost every facility from good rooms. Bathroom is just okay. Roof of the hotel was great. Overall, if youre searching for a cheap place to stay in katmandu, this is the best option. Zostel in catmandus is fantastic. Everyone is extremely cooperative, and all of the services they received were flawless. Additionally, their restaurant serves delicious food.4.8/511 Nov 2023

The zostel is good, the rooms are clean and all amenities are available with clean bathrooms. However, my ezosol manager did not really give me a tour of the zaol with the cafe and everything. Cafe has its own timing of opening and closing, it is not 24 7 open.4.8/54 Jul 2023

Zostel is the best hostel in town. The dorm is where Zoztel steals it. With foreigners constantly changing, the place never gets too boring. All bunk beds have their own reading lights, which wont disturb others. Hot water is available 24 hours a day. In the food court of Zosestel, there is too much food. Not satisfied with the local cuisine, though. However, you will definitely enjoy your stay at zostels. Also, all the staff are very friendly.4.8/519 Jun 2023

I recently spent 11 nights here, and im glad i chose this hostel. This is the best deal you can find at such low prices. I had a great time here. They have everything you could possibly need, clean linens, cool hangout areas, friendly staff. We decided to choose a safe bet and went to zostel for etiquette for our few days of stay. The location was good considering, there was peace and quiet and an absolute commercial area within 5 minutes walking distance, but it was in thamel, so we had to carry our luggage for several meters. Although the rooms were fine, the beds were comfortable, what was disappointing was the bathrooms. Even though it is naive, we would expect more from this hostel than basic amenities and cleanliness. The place is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. There is a hot shower and the hostel is located in sanitized areas. However, you cant bring your own beer and hang out. You have to buy everything at the bar food, drinks etc and prices are more expensive than in the city.4.6/519 Aug 2024

The rooms were clean. We were a group of three, so we booked one private room and one dormitory bed. It was spacious and clean with all the basic amenities. The hostess, shree, was fun and friendly. She helped us decide where to go. Also, the location is good as you can get cabs on the main road. There are good restaurants and cafes nearby. I would recommend trying some local cuisine thupka. This hostel is conveniently located within walking distance from both the market and durbar square. The rooms are impeccably maintained, and the common areas are lined with lovely murals. This hostel is very good. It is a great place to meet people and either leave for shikhiking or return from one. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was also delicious. Staff were friendly. The hostel is the coolest and best ive ever stayed at. Its clean, the location is beautiful, people are very friendly and the food is good. They organize activities around the city that are free for tourists. There is a cafe in the compound where you meet people from different walks of life and make friends and hang out. Drinks are available which is convenient. The roof is my favorite part of the zostel. On top there is an internet where we can relax, look around, and just breathe. Highly recommended. I stayed at the zostel at both the beginning and the end of my trip to Nepal. After trekking abc, i came down the mountain to find that the covid19 pandemic had worsened and there was no way home. I spent over three weeks at zastels in katmandu. Every day, the staff provided me with topnotch services. They always made me feel comfortable with their friendly smiles and greetings. We were allowed to truly make this place our home by giving us tours of their new hostel, hanging out with the hostel dog, ginger, and allowing us to make it our own. The beds are incredibly comfy and spotless. Each day felt like a paradise because of the showers best water pressure, as well as the large net hammock on the rooftop. My daily experience was wonderful, so ive been spoiled every morning, getting craft coffee every first thing in the morning and enjoying the best dinners at night (get the paneer or veggie tikka! I met so many amazing travelers with similar interests and made friends with all the employees equally. Im excited for the day when ill return and see my fellow workers. Stay at this hostel.
