I visited Amsterdam in early august 2013, and I was looking for a safe and inexpensive room for 6 nights in Ams, so I chose Hotspot. The location is quite convenient, not far from the central, about 10 minutes by bus. I checked in the room, and the comfortable beds and plenty of toiletries made me feel at home. The plentiful breakfast was really surprising and no need to eat lunch every day. In addition, guests can learn some good places information from the host husband. Free wifi is also provided by the host.

When my boyfriend and I visited Amsterdam from August 17 to 22, we stayed at a hotspot our room was a very nice bedroom with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom, but it was a bit small each morning. Monica was incredibly kind to us, I believe she was a friend of the owner, brought us breakfast and it was amazing because it had sweet muffins, chocolate, hot milk, bread, ham, cheese, and so on. And eating really great food was really satisfying! There was a table with a coffee maker, plates, spoons, and forks outside our room. And everything we required. It will be 10 minutes from the city centre, but there will be a bus every 5 minutes. Bus stop is 5 minutes away from there. No cleaning of the room behind the door there was an advertisement that said cleaning from 10 to 12 but we didn't! Thankfully that's the only disadvantage! Prices are honest, I believe you won't find another place in this price range that serves a great breakfast like a hotspot. I hope to return to Amsterdam soon and stay at a hotspot again. Why not?

Everything was perfect. The owners were very friendly to us from start to finish. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was small but equipped with all the essentials, like towels, soaps and hair dryers. The breakfast was great, it was served in our room at the time we previously decided with the owners, and on the day we left they also gave us some bags for the sandwiches to take away for our trip. The position is good and easily accessible by bus from the central station. The owners told us all the information about the buses to get there via email before our arrival. I absolutely recommend this place and I'll definitely be back one day.

The location was close to public transportation system. The cleanliness here was good, and the staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast was well-deserved.

The house is beautiful inside and out. The family is very nice. The location may be a problem for some as you have to take the buscar, no other options. I don't think this was a problem for us. It's 10 minutes by bus. great wifi.
