Amazing hotel. Near to the train station and the central part of harleem. Staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable x We spent days out in different areas, harleem, Amsterdam, etc and within walking distance to the station. Hotel room was quirky and beautiful x clean and tidy. Staff definitely keep the place in great order. We had breakfast one day and plenty of choice, fresh food available and extra cooked options too. If we visit again would use this place as our base

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Haarlem, only 5 minutes from the station with easy access to the centre of town. Breakfast each day was excellent and the staff want to help when needed. Our room was excellent and the colour scheme very clever. Would stay here again if we are in the area and we will recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful unique boutique hotel in haarlem. I would recommend haarlem/hotel staat as a base to visit amsterdam and vicinity. The hotel is less than 5 min walk from haarlem central train station and a pleasant 10 min stroll into the old haarlem town center. We had a room on the second floor which was very spacious and very quiet. Very good breakfast with plenty of choices. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff! We had a delightful stay for a couple days at the end of a two week vacation. Proximity to the airport was key in the selection of Haarlem for us, and with the hotel only a couple blocks from the train station, our arrival was easy as well. The center of town is a short walk away to enjoy the museums, sights, shopping, and restaurants. We highly recommend as long as mobility is not a concern.

Un hotel ubicado en una area muy linda y cerca de la estación de tren , eso fue muy importante . El desayuno es muy bueno y el hotel esta muy bonito . El personal de recepción es muy atento . La limpieza de la habitación cuando llegamos era excelente pero el servicio de limpieza cuando lo solicitas no es tan bueno .

We really enjoyed our stay here at this delightful boutique hotel near the train station and town centre. It was easy to walk to Haarlem to explore or to take the train into Amsterdam. The free coffee and tea were such a delight and show how much something seemingly small can add a lot. The room was super charming and spacious, with a king size bed, sitting area and spacious washroom with heated floors. The breakfast looked and smelled delicious and we would have considered it if we didn't have other plans or had stayed longer. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if back in Haarlem.

Very well located property with comfortable large bedrooms and excellent beds and showers. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The reception area facilities, with free coffee, tea and hot chocolate on demand, add a nice touch. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet at night and the courtyard garden behind our room. Do give it a try!

It’s a beautiful old school building turned into a hotel. Keep in mind there is no elevator, however, staff was there to help us with our luggage. The staff is very friendly and helpful and everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. We would love to stay there again!

Staff were exceptional-friendly, courteous, and helpful. The coffee machine and games in the bar area was very much appreciated on rainy evenings! Our rooms were beautiful, with comfy beds and cozy linens. The property was clean, well kept, modern and charming. Breakfast on our first day was outstanding. The chef was male, maybe new to the hotel. The next breakfast wasn’t as good - different chef. It is a quiet neighborhood, very walkable to market area. Overall, we loved our stay.
