The location was fantastic! Everything is a brief walk away. Nice, spotless hotel. Not the same vibe as some of the hard rock spots we've stayed at. There are all of the usual rock memorabilia in the public spaces. Although relatively quiet, the bar is nice. However, tasty cocktails are served. If the hotel fee is reasonable, breakfast was excellent and well worth it. When we first arrived, the room appeared small, but it was fine after we had unpacked. The shower was pleasant, though, and the bathroom was tiny. The absence of a place to hang your coat is the only other issue.

In terms of both walking about central Amsterdam and getting on and off the trams to various parts of the city, the hard rock hotel was in a great position. Breakfast was included in our stay and was well worth it with lots of choice cold and hot options from a buffet. The rooms were varying, we travelled with two friends 2 couples. Our room was quite compact, with not much space to move around the bed, which was also a standard double size. But we had a lovely view out front of the hotel and could see the canal. Our friends had a large room with a massive bed, but their view was of the gutters. The staff was all friendly and helpful, especially the concierge who helped with the luggage and booked a taxi back to the airport, and was generally friendly and pleasant. The bar served great cocktails, but they were pricey. The service at the bar was good. Critics a hairdryer with such a short lead that you could not really plug it in and see in a mirror!.

This hotel will make you feel very good, with fantastic art nouveau style both inside and out, with the extra glam provided by the hard rock chain, I feel very lucky to stay in such classic luxury. We felt like rock stars, no problem, the restaurant menu not set the world on fire, but it's fine. We will experience a bar tomorrow, before walking to the world famous paradise to see the waterboy at the best live venue complete stop. I can't wait to eat breakfast!.

This accommodation is fantastic, and this place is very recommended. The room is spacious and clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant and cafe are also excellent. Initially we booked the place because of its location, but we were amazed by how well it worked and was also extremely satisfying to stay there.
