Het is goed te doen. Ik ben met de ZE bussen vaak op pad geweest. Ik was bijvoorbeeld ook met een waterstofbus naar Surhuisterveen geweest. Ook met een batterijbus naar o.a. Delfzijl en Siddeburen.

The hotel staff were amazing and always accommodating and friendly. There was a free latte machine that made amazing cappuccino. Just a note: the hotel is under construction as of this review (05/2026) and while construction did not start until 8:00 AM it was incredibly loud all day! Forget about a mid day nap. The bed and room was wonderful.

The staff were most friendly, we were accommodated with an early check-in. The room was large and spacious with commanding views of the city over the canal. We were given an orientation from where we were in the city. The rooms were well laid out and very clean. We were close to transportation, restaurants, retail, and historic center. We would come here again without concern.

The hotel is in good location at walking distance of city center and train station. It has good facilities ( maybe a safety box would be great and electricity connections at bedside table). Otherwise, the bed, pillows and furniture make the room very comfortable. And you have coffee and tea for free at the lobby. It was a very nice stay

Et virkeligt dejligt hotel. Vi havde købt et ad de store værelser, og de ekstra penge var godt givet ud. Der var køleskab, som var virkeligt praktisk. Værelset var hyggeligt og rummeligt. 2 store, åbne garderober til udpakning. Værelset lå lige ud til den hyggelige lobby, men der var en entré med en ekstra dør, så vi hørte intet fra fællesområdet. Eneste minus var at sengen havde dobbeltdyne, og det store badeværelse havde ikke kroge/bøjler til alle håndklæder. Man hører en lille smule støj fra byen, men med ørepropper var det intet problem. Til gengæld havde vi udsigt over den fine lystbådehavn. Lobbyen var fin, og der var gratis kaffe og the under hele opholdet. Parkering i kælderen fungerede fint. Hotellet var let at komme til med bil, og ligger i gå-afstand til centrum af Groningen. Hvis vi skal tilbage til Groningen, vil vi bestemt booke dette hotel igen.

Convenient for centre and restaurants. The hotel is probably 50 years old and has been kept up to date. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Parking is available in the underground car park and it is advisable to book. The main station is about 10/15 minutes walk away. The bus service in Groningen is excellent and good value. The hotel does not have a restaurant but serves a good breakfast. The staff were excellent throughout the stay. Groningen itself is a lovely city

The check in was fast and friendly. There is coffee in the lobby as well as coffee maker in the room. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Area was safe and not too far from the train station. The ice cream was a nice addition!

Zentral gelegen, alle Ziele in der Innenstadt gut zu erreichen, der Parkservice in der Tiefgarage hat gut geklappt, sehr schöne komfortabele Zimmer. Ich war schon dreimal in diesem Hotel und werde immer wieder dieses Hotel buchen für einen Groningen-Aufenthalt.

Cute hotel. Very clean. We enjoyed the location ; not in the market but just a short walk and very quiet. 10minute walk to train station. Cute lobby with a small bar. Crisp white linen, nice bathroom with tub. Staff was very friendly. Coffee machine in lobby so you can enjoy coffee or cappuccino 24 hours. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as we wondered out if the hotel in the morning. Would definitely book again!

We zijn al vaak in Groningen geweest maar dit was de eerste keer in het Flonk hotel. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer een kilometer van het station en 500 meter van het centrum. De lobby is ruim en licht met een atrium. De deluxe kamer was ruim en schoon met een grote nieuwe badkamer met ruim bad en aparte douchecabine. Heerlijk geslapen in het kingsize bed. Het ontbijt buffet was prima. De service van het vriendelijke personeel was bijzonder goed. De kamer was nog niet klaar voor ons, maar we kregen een drankje aangeboden ter compensatie. Onze reisgenoot werd ‘s nachts ziek en het personeel deed alles om ons te helpen (met name Loes). Het hotel was vol, dus we konden niet blijven. Zij hebben kamers geregeld in hotel Flonk Groningen Zuid en ook vervoer daar naartoe. Ook daar was de service buitengewoon goed. We komen zeker terug naar Flonk Groningen Centre!
