My partner and I stayed at the hotel for his birthday. We found an offer through socialdeal for a cheap stay with breakfast and welcome drink. As value for money the hotel offers that and more. Located in front of the beach and promenade. Recently furnished rooms with modern design and attractive furniture. Very close to the train station and supermarket. As for our stay there it could have been much better. Upon arrival they told me that this was the room available and if I wanted I could get a sea view room for an additional $30. When we asked the front office team for some suggestions for where to go and which park to visit the answer was literally one word answers of yes or no with no real interest in hospitality. Later, as it was our fault, we wanted to order food a little late for local standards. We found on google that the hotel restaurant was still open, but when we called the front desk to order they told us it was closed, sorry bye, with no alternative or any effort at least to sound sympathetic. Finally, the balcony door was a bit loose, making cold winds enter the room all night, making it freezing. The receptionist responded that it was sorry and will try to fix it in the future. I have worked in hospitality for many years, I know how many problems can occur in a hotel that is not their fault or that sometimes the staff is really powerless to act immediately in situations

I reserved 3 single rooms for my two sisters and I, and to our great surprise, we were all given a sea view room. The rooms were neat and comfortable, with one having a double bed! However, they should change the window frames because it was very stormy and you could hear the wind blowing through the closed curtains. We didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast was adequate and there were many options.

The hotel is located in the largest building on Zandvoort and shares rooms with residents. I had a sofa in one of the rooms that overlooks the city. Not particularly inspirational, but you can see far. Although small, the rooms seem to have been renovated. It's interesting that there is no desk there, so you can't work there effectively, making the hotel better suited for tourists who simply sleep there than anything else. The bathroom is also tiny. Breakfast is served at a little minimal. There is nothing unusual about the standard buffet. The restaurant is transformed into a size for dinner, which is very nice. Overall, it's not a poor choice in terms of price and quality.
