This is an absolute GEM. We loved every part of the stay. The unique house type for a family is a very interesting design concept but was very efficient. It wasn’t the biggest room for the 3 men, but we made the most of it by sharing the space peacefully. Everything was about saving the earth which I also love taking part in. Eco-friendly place made our hearts warm throughout the 7 days of stay. I really appreciate the kindness by everyone at the reception and the hotel too. Thanks for everything during the week of our stay! Definitely coming back here when I am back in Zutphen!

Voor ons weekendje racefietsen hebben wij in dit Stayokay hostel een prima verblijf gevonden. Kamer, sfeer en eten waren wat ons betreft prima en tegen een redelijke prijs. Vooral de rust op de locatie beviel ons wel. Verder was het weer top, dus dat maakte ons fietsweekend helemaal geslaagd.

Great hostel, very clean. We had dinner and breakfast and both were good quality. This is a great place for kids, with a games room and outdoor play area. Pur room was spacious with comfortable bunks. Everything was spotlessly clean.

We stayed in the wikkelhouse. It was situated in the trees with a view of a field of cows. The trees could be cut a little further down yo give more view. We liked the house, but we lacked a place to put our suitcases. They couln't fit under the bed and the space was limited, so we often had to move them. Our children slept in a bunk bed, and while there was a safety railing on the top one, there was nothing on the buttom one, which was open until both sides. We liked that there was a little kitchen and a dining table and even a little terasse with chairs. Our children like the playground and played football on the lawn. The breakfast was nice, but on day two when we were leaving, it wadn't ready at 8 o'clock when they opened. The man in charge seemed unorganised and first arrived with the bread 15 minutes later. He forgot to put out several food items, which we then had to ask for.

Twee nachten met vriendinnen geslapen in een vierpersoonskamer. Kamers met twee stapelbedden van alle gemakken voorzien. Netjes en schoon. Ook twee avonden gegeten. Prima! Gezellige bar.

Vi skulle bara övernatta med två barn efter en hel dags bilresa. Det visade sig vara så trevlig atmosfär att vi blev nyfikna på att stanna längre, men det får vänta till nästa resa till Nederländerna.

In een oase van rust en stilte staat een geheel uit hout opgetrokken Noors Jachthuis dat Prins Hendrik in 1910 cadeau kreeg van de Noorse koning. De openhaard is aan en moe na een uitputtend dagje Apenheul, werden we hier (bijna letterlijk) met open armen ontvangen. Omdat we nog niet gegeten hadden wilden we Pizza gaan eten in Bathmen, maar er zou ook wel 'even iets gemaakt kunnen worden'. De kids speelden er inmiddels weer op los in de speeltuin, dus was de zin om weer in de auto te stappen over: er werd 'iets gemaakt'. In overleg werd er toch voor frietjes gekozen, maar als verantwoorde ouders vonden we wel dat er 'groentjes' en salade bij moest. Het resultaat was geweldig: riante porties groentjes, salade en - natuurlijk- frietjes, afgemaakt met gegrilde paprika's, stukje vlees en ten slotte nog een ijsje voor de kids en mousse voor pa en ma. En dat allemaal even lekker! Overnachten in de nette, zeer ruime meerpersoons kamers in een apart van het hoofdgebouw gelegen slaap/vergaderzalen gebouw was prima te doen. Je hebt een riante, nette badkamer en aparte WC ter beschikking en dat met nostalgische gevoel van het vroegere basisschool kamp. Niks mis mee en meer heb je ook niet nodig. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd en gezien de prijs zeer uitgebreid te noemen. er ontbrak ons niets en er werden meerdere malen vers afgebakte broodjes aangevoerd en ons gevraagd naar overige wensen.

Unfortunately we were only staying for 1 night but the hostel was lovely, room was spacious & had everything we needed - it's not a hotel, so don't expect towels/ toiletries etc! All the team were helpful & very friendly & breakfast was lovely. The area looked amazing & I wish we had have had longer to have a really good look around & explore. Would definitely go back if we needed a base in the area

Geweldig genoten van mijn overnachting met kleindochter van 5 jaar. Voor de kinderen elke dag een leuke activiteit. Toen wij er waren kampvuur met marshmellows roosteren. Leuke speeltuin erbij, gezellig huishondje, prima ontbijt.
