It was a pleasure to stay with them. They lived up to my expectations. During my stay, i stayed in their two buildings, but ive enjoyed the second because it is more roomy and wellequipped. The staff is all friendly and helpful. Apart from the room, the lobby is ideally suited for socializing. Before tackling the city on my daily journey, there is free coffee in the morning. Cleanliness and maintenance are maintained well. A hostel that ill highly recommend. What more could you possibly want from if it were right in town center, its affordable and of high quality?.4.8/511 May 2024

We walked everywhere without any problems and recommend it if you are here for short stays and dont have too much luggage. The hostel is nice and clean. Our roommates (10 mixed dorms) were very nice. I will say the bathroom situation is a bit strange because the sink and mirror are in with the shower and the toilet is separate. So the bathrooms werent great and there weren't big lockers for bags, but its so well located that i couldnt complain. It was less than 10 minutes from the train, near the red light district, close to coffee shops and nice cafes, on main street with lots of affordable restaurants, and very close shopping district.4.8/512 Dec 2023

The building and rooms were exactly as we had anticipated, as everything was described online, and we even received dozens of emails in advance with very useful and practical information. The only downside is that everything is extra, including towels, and there arent many lockers that work, so bring your own lock. Despite being a decent place for one or two nights, there really are no facilities for more than that. The female dorm was decent, the place was clean and conveniently located.4.8/514 May 2023

The room is basic and has all the amenities you could need. We opted for a 4bed room with sytay bathroom as we were bringing ages together, which was great for us. There are some things that you must pay cash at checkin such as room keys (eur 10 for 2 keys), which we didnt notice before we arrived but not an issue. If you ask staff, there is onsite vending machine and snacks available for small fees. Our accommodation was directly in front of the building by idly door, so it was noisy at times and we could occasionally hear people outside. Because there are currently construction work on the street outside, it can be muddy under foot, especially if you have oversized luggage! However, overall, the price, location, and staff were very helpful. Would return for another trip with friends.4.8/515 Apr 2023

Ive stayed here three or four times already. And every time has been enjoyable. The rooms are roomy and kept clean. Every room has lockers for added security. Bed linens are always spotless, fresh, and soft. All rooms have good heating. Showers maintain hot water pressure. It is in a great location, close to transportation, shops, attractions, bars, restaurants, etc. Additionally, the staff is always welcoming and accommodating.4.6/514 Jun 2024

I want to express my gratitude to the cleaning lady who came to clean the room at 9.30 and was talking very loudly on her phone. Seven clients were sleeping, but she didnt seem to care. Excellent location, however, the rooms lack storage and furniture. 588 eur (3 people) for 3 nights is expensive for a dormitory of 10 people.4.6/518 May 2024

Overall, a pleasant place to stay! The location is excellent for everything. We stayed in secluded twoperson room with private bathroom. Everything was spotless, and you had just what you needed. The location is in the center of the city, perfect for shopping. We had a good experience and the rooms were very clean. Our room was larger than the picture. Shower gel or shampoo didnt need to be brought because it was already there. The bathroom looked very modern and clean with shabby decor. Lobby looks nice and you can get free coffee and tea in town in morning. There is also ice maker in lobby for cooling drinks. In the luggage room there was enough space. All covid19 rules were followed. Staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hostel to my friends and will come back again, thank you.4.6/54 Feb 2024

I adore the staff members! When i checked in, the gentleman and the lady were a huge help! I had reserved supper in emerald room with mr. And toilet separate. My roommates probably contributed to the cleanliness, which was quite reasonable. So, its reasonably priced and conveniently located in the heart of the city. The staff at xplore hostel was very friendly, but the guy who helped us with the checkout was really rude. Of course, everything was not negative. I must say that the hostels location is very good and having the opportunity to have a bathroom inside the 3bed room is actually quite good, especially in crowded cities like amsterdam. We booked 3 beds so basically the whole room was for us, although we had pcs, the place was messy. First, we found an old mask in the room, and other areas were messy and dirty. Second, because the walls of the rooms are quite thin, if you have noisy neighbors, good luck trying to sleep.4.6/57 Jul 2023
