Tombstone Backpackers is an excellent place for small and large groups. They offer a wide variety of entertainment activities, including pool, table tennis, board games, puzzles, and many more. The place is always neat and the facilities are nice and clean. I enjoyed waking up to the view over Picton. Ill be back to stay!.

We visited twice, on our way down south and on our way back up north. We were in a small but adequate ensure room. Nice to also have a balcony. The cats were friendly and gave us a delicious breakfast each morning. The kitchen had nice, large refrigerators that were big enough for our chilly suitcases. Smokey was clinging to our room so he came in for a rest and then departed via the balcony. A cat is nice and kind. Our ferry was getting ready north in the morning, so it was really convenient.

I have stayed here before, and have always admired the welcoming reception. Lots of space to relax, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of parking. We got a double room this time, the bathroom was a bit small, but there was a great balcony and view. It's really convenient to the ferry and a good walk into town.

What a little gem with great hosts! The lodge has a wellequipped kitchen, great indoor and outdoor areas and a clean and hot spa pool! The room was clean and everything we needed. Perfect for a few days. And the homemade scones for breakfast every day were great!.

We expected a little bit more from what, on the surface, looks like a pistons premier hotel, but overall we enjoyed our stay thanks to a good room and helpful staff. Staff shortages were obvious the restaurant was closed because both the chefs were sick but the front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in need of a refreshment. The decor is dated but the hotel and room were clean and tidy. Our room had a port view which was great and the location on the waterfront is ideal.

The view was amazing and all seemed fine until we sat on the bed next to the window and felt the wires in the mattress. The bathroom carpet strip on the floor that is supposed to hold the carpet in place is not attached and I pricked my foot on it.

I booked an Ocean view room that had a nice view and clean room. The location is close to the water and the city center. I really liked my stay at this hotel and to this city. Thank you for everything!.

First stop on a long tour of the south island. So convenient because we just walked off the bluebridge. Gary's Nikki restaurant has a great, welcoming atmosphere. genuinely helpful staff, plenty of space. We loved the design and the coffin lid door but not overdone lovely, straightforward breakfast for everyone. Freshly baked cheese scones, pretty fine ones too add a really friendly cat, not quite so friendly one all equals a fantastic place to stay. Our room was everything you needed, nothing you didn't, it even had a great view of the ferry terminal.
