We spent two nights in a river view room with a balcony and an expansive view of the shooter river. Watching the jetboats moving along was enjoyable. Our apartment was spacious, nicely furnished, and equipped with a large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent position and has wonderful spa facilities with a large indoor pool, albeit the sauna was out of service. In contrast, the accommodation areas are in desperate need of maintenance and thorough cleaning. Carpets are torn, the balcony has not been swept in years, walls and doors are marked, and missing toilet items are scuffed. All of these could be remedied with a thoughtful manager. Why wasn't general maintenance performed during the Couid lockdown? Being located out of Queenstown, we chose this hotel because it had an in-house restaurant serving gourmet dishes. However, only 5 days before our arrival, they emailed us stating that the eatery would be closed on both evenings of our stay due to an unavoidable staffing shortage. They recommended 3 other nearby eateries. On the first night was one of two was open on the second Monday none! It was difficult to walk around and get back down Queenstown in the rain until we found somewhere open and with a spare table. Due to demand and significant staff shortages, queenstown restaurants are currently required to close on ties

I had a great 6 night's stay at the suggest point, the location is great, with a view of the shooter, and it was handy because Arthur Point was close to Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Coronet Peak Scofield. The staff was very nice and helpful, and a massage is required. The facilities are a little tired, clean, and comfortable, but tired, which is the only thing stopping me from rating it 5 stars. Having said that, I suggest it and think it is good value for money.

It was so wonderful. The room was enormous, and they gave us a free upgrade. I cannot recommend anyone to visit this place enough. Loved all the extra services such as spa, massage, and tavern. It was fantastic. I will return when I visit Queenstown.

This hotel provides some facilities, especially the above ground ones, no robes, shampoo, conditioner, or any other small details. The steamroll and hot tub didn't work during my stay. The desk was closed until quite early in the evening. We were not informed in my room about the hotel's services and amenities. The furniture in the room, including the bed, was worn out. The hotel's swipe cards for guests' rooms didn't function, so guests were frequently locked out.

We enjoyed our stay of 3 days because it was so close to Queenstown and Arrowtown's attractions. The atmosphere was quiet at night, where we could sleep and enjoy the peaceful bed. We got a stunning view from our lakeside room and restaurant. The staff is very polite and helpful, and the restaurant and reception are both friendly and helpful. At night, we ate breakfasts and couple meals in the restaurant. Everyday was great with a few wait times. Unfortunately, the spool area was closed for maintenance which was disappointing, and the rooms needed to be renovated, tired and outdated looking, but otherwise, we enjoyed our three-day stay.
