QT Queenstown is positioned on the Esplanade with views across the lake, towards the mountains. It is undergoing modernisation. A short 5 min walk to town, where there are multiple choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are incredible and cannot please you enough. They have free wine tasting daily, there is Also a roof bar and restaurant on site. Will definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay in spite of the hotel redevelopment. The complimentary buffet behind reception was a great touch. Our Lakeview balcony room in the old hotel was very large and comfortable, as well as beautifully renovated.

We stayed in a newly renovated room which was modern, clean and had great amenities. All staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel offered pastries and juices in the mornings and local wine, cheese and crackers in the evening which was a lovely touch. Big shout out to Anthony for his welcoming nature and attention to detail.

We stayed at QT Queenstown for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon, and it was truly the best hotel experience of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and level of service were exceptional. There was always someone available to help with anything we needed, and the entire team made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. A special thank you to Jason, who helped us organize activities and gave us amazing recommendations that really elevated our experience. Our room was absolutely amazing, with an incredible view of the lake. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the things we loved most was the experience in the lobby. Every morning we were welcomed with delicious pastries, and the dulce de leche croissant is a must try. In the afternoon they offered wine and cheeses, and in the evening whisky and chocolate. Coming back to the hotel after a full day of activities was always something to look forward to. What made this experience even more special were the thoughtful touches in the room. We would always find personalized notes along with chocolates, wine, bath bombs. They truly went above and beyond to make every moment feel unique. We loved our stay so much that we actually decided to change our itinerary and book QT Auckland for the final days of our honeymoon. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it, especially for a special occasion like a honeymoon.

We were here in March as part of my husband’s 60th. And QT was fab! We had such a great stay. They had a lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. And every evening we’d personally get deliver lovely snacks. I’d stay there again!

All of the staff was really nice and caring. Made us feel really welcome. We would especially like to thank the receptionist Carlotta and the manager Anthony! They were really nice and even arranged a little surprise for us. We really appreciated the effort and they made a really good impression on us. They gave us great advice on where to go and it made the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was great and the view amazing! The hotel has free coffee in lobby during the morning and free drinks in the afternoon, which is a really nice touch. There is also free shuttle to bough the airport, Arrowtown and a vineyard (we do recommend a trip there). When it comes to the hotels condition, it is a bit dated. The common areas aren’t in the best shape, but it is under construction. It was a little shame that we didn’t know that the pool wasn’t going to be available during our stay, since we did count on using it. Also the renovation was a bit disturbing. We would have given the hotel a little lower grading, if it wasn’t for the lovely staff.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Bruno on the desk who helped me with a booking I had made months ago,but found that I had actually lost the name of the company. He was able to track it down for me. Hindi ( probably not spelled correctly) was charming serving a different free drink and snack every afternoon from 3-5pm. G&T the first evening, a choice of pinos the next. Room was very clean and stylish. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. View from the dining room is spectacular. I only had the continental breakfast there. It was very good. It was also helpful having an on site car park.

A high quality quiet modern hotel within walking distance of the busy, noisy centre. Views from the bar/restaurant overlooking the lake are breathtaking. The bedroom was impeccably clean and comfortable. The best of all, however, are the staff who couldn’t help enough (thank you again Julia for working so hard to sort out our booking platform problem). We travel extensively and for us to recommend a hotel so highly is an exception.

Another great stay at QT Queenstown from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by the friendly reception staff and given the usual hotel run through. The staff organised a drink for us as we arrived just as happy hour was ending. Our room had lake views with a small balcony over the carpark. The room was good size for a couple with 2 suitcases each. There was a small lounge and coffee table in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure was great. Both the room, bathroom and hotel spaces were clean and tidy. The location of the hotel itself is convenient and a short walk to the main Queenstown hub. Although you can no longer take the short cut through the old Rydges hotel (at this time) so the walk back is up an incline. Overall, great hotel with great staff in a great location.
